Great brickfilm! I like your uses of light effects and the animation of the destroyed skeletton! And the set are great too! A good alchemy to make an D&D ambient😍By the way, I had a lot of fun with the special guest at the end🤣
Thanks a lot for your kind words! Yeah, I must admit I was struggling a bit with a proper ending. The goal was to make it memorable and to keep it as an open-ending for a potential sequel. It think the current ending does the job well - I see in the analytics that many viewers scroll back to this scene pretty often :)
Thank you for your kind words! I must say that I put a bit of a preasure on myself with those materials documenting progress as well as with the trailer I released about three weeks ago. And the first pre-release render had a few issues I was not super happy with, but I was able to fix them for the final release. I'm happy it's out there, the positive feedabck is very uplifting and I already started thinking about next projects. Thanks for the support!
Dear Lord, this is absolutely magnificent! :0 I am beyond impressed, the whole vibe you're creating with the lighting, cinematography, set design, animation, voice acting and sound effects is truly amazing! Top notch! The immersion into this fantasy world is absolutely incredible! And that ending was also hilarious! xD Fantastic work! :D
Thank you so much for your kind words, Maxi! ❤️ It makes it all worth the effort when such a talented fellow stop-motion animator recognizes all those difficult parts. Thank you, my friend!
I have question about torches in the hands of minifigures. Did you somehow light them up, direct on them light from different sources or you add it in post production?
I used small LED lights I bought from Aliexpress (link: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oB2EO55), model/color name 10PCS1220227-Y. These are 1x1 round plates with small LED on top of the stud. Then I attached 1x1 transparent orange round plate on it and then I attached a flame part so it was lighten directly from the bottom. I also used a 1/4 diffusion filter on the lens to soften the highlights and get this hazy aura around the flames. No other post processing needed.
Btw, if you take a closer look, you will see tiny cables behind the minifigs in the scenes where the torches were used :) I didn't bother masking them out, this way it feels more natural imho.
The set design was just excellent!
Thank you!
Finally!! Btw really good job
Thank you!
I love how you created druid spell of vines trapped skeleton.
Thank you! Yeah, I took three takes on that single animation and the final effect was definitely worth the effort.
Amazing movie! I love the detailed setups and the story! Great twist at the end 🤣. And I hope for a sequel to the unfinished quest ☺
Thank you! Yeah, I'm happy this video is finally out, and now I can start thinking about the next one 😉

Oh wow, what cool lighting, sick! And great use of the new 3-in-1 set too 😄
Thanks! I bought 31120 3-in-1 set just to shoot that scene 😆
Brilliant animation! The lighting really elevates every scene. Will you be continuing this story? I want to know who kidnapped Arlen.
Thank you! Yes, the story will continue - I guess the sequel could be titled "Finished Quest" to emphisize closure of the story :)
