yeah cause he takes care of his car it doesn’t matter the car if someone doesn’t take care of it you’ll have problems so your right all the reliability stuff is bs
Pretty much zero issues with mine, had a few electronic error codes come up but then clear themselves up. Confirmed car was ok with service dept. after. That was the ONLY issue ove had. Love the QV. Looking to do a Squadra tune soon
2019 here. Lowered on ST springs with PSS in factory sizes, 5mm spacers front and rear. Carbon scudetto, 2020 steering wheel. I’ve got some other things coming that I’ll be posting about shortly too but you’re right… seems like most people aren’t modifying these
How did you program the valve controller into home link in the visor. If you please explain this in a video that would be amazing and greatly appreciated. Thank you and keep up the great work 👍
Lovely Giulia. You can get the MPS4S tyres in OEM sizes now (in Australia) those tyres look too big for the wheels. When I replaced by P Zeros Corsas I went for the Goodyear F1 SS in OEM sizes. Also great tyres. I’ve added OEM carbon mirror caps and front grill. Also fitted a Larini centre pipe which deletes the resonator. Definitely a great upgrade.
Very helpful video. QV owner here and inevitably I will have to replace tires at some point. Debating between pirellis again or these PS4S like you recommend. I'm completely new to this, don't really know anything about tires. What exactly is the advantage of the PS4S vs the stock ones?
They last 2-3x longer, perform just as well on the street (better if you count cold temps), and are much safer in wet conditions. Better tire in every way except for grip levels on track. But even on track the oem pirellis are weak for their tread wear rating.
The Pirelli tires are track tires that can handle heat. The added size of 295 will not out perform the 285s selected on lap times. The Pirelli corsas have invincible sidewalls. They won’t last as long as the Michelin. The 2017s rode lower. Your car looks great lowered the way you did it.
the springs are good for the look, but what about driving characteristics. With my H&R springs -40mm, the driving characteristics also deteriorated by -40%. Very bad.
@@Squadrafoglio Ok so the question is on stock setup do u recommend using the 255 295 u have on your car or get the stock 45 85’s ... only ask cause you said your oversized fit, looked good and hooked up, which sounds perfect .
Gotcha, I have had issues With the stock Perelli’s so I’m definitely gonna do your set up, I bought mine used with 3k miles on it like you did, and exact same reason, I have seen maybe 4 on road in last 2 years, the uniqueness over BMW is what sold me. Thanks, keep content coming…
@@Squadrafoglio This little side thread Has a mind of its own, people love tires! Hey Griffin, I bought the 255/295 today, I noticed you put spacers on because he lowered it, I won’t be lowering mine, do you think I’ll have any rubber issues and will need spacers? Thanks again
i have a 2019 same color and same wheels with st springs, i spend all weekend just trying to change the rear springs what a mission, car looks great with the st springs but lost alot of comfort!!
They don't have reliability issues--they have marketing issues. I literally never even heard of them until I was on looking at my 50th or 60th or maybe even 100th car in my car buying research like three to four months in. That's their main issue and why they tank in value.
Just FYI the 18s and 19s were discounted somewhere between 18k-25k when new.... sometimes more. My 19 stickered 82,9xx and the discount was 22k. I don't think 54k was the steal of the century for a QV that stickered 79k.
@@Squadrafoglio no... the discounts were extremely aggressive on new inventory because these cars did not sell. What I am trying to tell you is that car might have originally sold for mid 50s when it was new. Therefore your 54k used is not the steal of the century....
@@brandondavis1621 I got a 2020 for 17k off sticker at 68k was the best deal I could find. Best deal for 2019 was upper 50's so I think I made out well. So 54k for a low mile 2018 seems pretty fair especially with the clear bra I paid 1700 for.
Good luck, I loved mine until my motor went and it took 3 months to get another. I ended up going through the lemon law process. Such a shame because it's a special car and very exhilarating. I also had Blow off valve spacers, never been used. They would void the warranty if I installed them. I could only do exhaust that's it.
Just traded my STI in for a QV. Best upgrade I could’ve dreamed of. Waiting for an Akrapovic exhaust. Really looking forward to the JB4 video!!
Hows the QV after a year ?
The first thing I noticed was the wider track. Looks awesome.👍
The reliability issues are mostly BS. My brother has a 2017 and it has no issues at all. This car is da boss.

These cars are very reliable. Much more than BMW and Benz. I have had zero issues
The ST springs are a perfect choice
Getting mines 2weeks Bro cant wait
Got too
Great vid mate. Loved the BWM word at the end lol. So true. I’ll look out for updates. Currently looking at these Alfa’s
Great videos! Just subscribed ✌🏼

Badass ride bro, love my Quad!
Waiting for the x pipe review. Some people on the forums say that you get less pops and character after change. Wanted to see what you had to say
Looking forward to the video with the JB4!
@@Squadrafoglio congrats... I have a 2019 QV volcano black 6k miles and fkn love it.... lowered and y pipe only... looking forward for JB4 info...
Great car choice, literally just subscribed. I can't wait for more after market conten.
Would you have done the OEM tire sizes if you could get them with the PS4S’s?

Yeah, I too have the ps4s in the correct size at the rear. 👍🏼. They have actually been available since November 2020.

Should check out what Alfa did with the GTA, in terms of suspension. Still a great car you got there

how good are the ST springs? does the ride get choppy?
I switched to Alfissimo springs a while back. With their damper tune. I would not recommend ST springs compared to this option.
Jb4 review please
😍😍😍
is it bouncy in race mode?
Is the Jb 4 really worth it.. I have a 2019 QV lowered and xpipe so fare.

Yes! Inquiring minds want to know!
The valve controller is a waste of money. I made my own for $5 and works flawlessly everytime.
How king
