You do realize that this bike was still under construction at the time of filming this video. The bike got a new chain and sprocket set before it touched the road and new tires before it was legally ready. And before judging my turd, keep in mind that this bike is a rescue bike from the Hurricane Harvey flood and I saved it from being a pile of metal at the bottom of the San Jacinto river. This bike was my daily rider for 2 awesome years and I loved every minute of it. So the next time you wanna call someone elses achievement a "turd", take a good look at your channel before opening your mouth because compared to mine....your content reflects your character and you have none.
Where does the video state the fact that the bikes is under “ construction!?” What I see is an idiot installing rear sets on a bike that is clearly covered in rust, now STFU! @@svcruza
Honestly it all came with the rear set hardware. Everything was included and the rear brake solenoid was purchased separately. I dont really remember where I bought it because that was 4 years ago. 90% of the aftermarket parts where Ebay purchases.
His bike is a 2012 Suzuki GSXR 750 with 2014 fairings. As for these Suzuki rear sets, the bolt pattern should be exactly the same because I installed them on 3 separate Suzuki bikes and they all fit the same.
I would reach out to your seller and see if they forgot that threatened stud for the rear brake. Mine came with the rear sets so I didnt have that issue but many others have asked this same question so you're not alone.
I had to mock up a return spring, I actually plan to change up my rearsets due to discomfort of the blue ones I bought. However in the next video that comes out I'll show you what I did to make it work and my plans to fix it.
Lol I only came for the brake lever return spring to. Just wanted to see ideas on how others figured it out without having to drill and threat new holes
This video was made before the bike was road-legal or even roadworthy and that bike was finished about three months after this video is made and became my daily Rider for the next two years and I went through about 3 chains. Unfortunately I sold the bike about a year-and-a-half ago and I'm currently working on the 2002 Honda Magna. LOL which also has a chain that's just about as bad as the one that you're seeing in this video LOL. Trust me I plan on changing the chain and the front and rear sprocket as well.
I got you brother, I'll make my next video covering rear sets. Just keep in mind this video was made like 4 years ago and I no longer have the SV650 and the editing wasn't great either. Help me out dude, what kinda bike do you have?
Ok cool, I believe I can help with just that....I've got a few bikes in mind that may help...especially with that Chinese BS which I'm familiar with too...lol. I'll start on the video tomorrow. Hopefully I cover all the bases.
Where did you get the piece that screws onto your break cylinder I need one
YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT THAT RUSTY READY TO FAIL NASTY CHAIN !
