    Womet-Tech Evo Shorty Levers allow you to keep your hand on the bar while still using the clutch / brake lever with its two-finger design and six different positions that allow you to dial in the perfect bar-to-lever distance for your hand. These components are CNC machined out of aircraft grade aluminum with an anodized finish so you are getting top quality controls that are built to take a beating without showing any sign of it. With the shorter design, these Womet-Tech Evo Shorty Levers are less likely to break or bend in the event of a crash when compared to stock levers, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars in repairs and a tow truck ride home caused by a broken brake or clutch lever.

    Super simple install. 20-30 min for both sides. Didn’t even need a video but these guys always go the extra mile. Much appreciated. Super fast shipping if you order through them. I ordered Friday and received Sunday in Ontario, Canada. Says it was shipped from Florida. Amazing. Thx boys. Keep it up. 👊🏻

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      TST Industries provides parts that are optimized for performance and typically we don't do multiple colors. We will not be supplying multiple colors of lever body or the fulcrum; those will remain black/black. In the future we will be launching an adjuster set available in multiple colors so that our customers can change that detail to their liking.

    Did you have any issues getting the brass bushing and lever back in? I tried installing mine but it just seems to be way to tight of a fit. Tried putting the oem lever back on with the bushing and it wont seat all the way either. I get it about half way lined back up with the hole for the screw but thats it. Only happens with the bushing in lever.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aaron miller are you asking about brake or clutch side? You may be jamming the lever/bushing assembly in without getting the read switch button out of the way and that may be getting in the way of proper assembly. We have never had this issue and haven't heard from any of our customers with similar issues. If the tip I gave you in my reply doesn't solve your problem please call our support line monday-friday and one of our guys will be happy to help you, and troubleshoot with you.

    Does anyone know of a video or channel that shows all of the maintenance intervals and how to perform them all for the 2015 R3?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The best thing you can do is get yourself a service manual straight from Yamaha. It is written by their engineers and is the best guide to all you need with the bike. Even pros who have worked on bikes for many years use factory manuals as a reference because you can access knowledge of those who built the bike in the first place. In one of our build videos you can see me using the factory manual during the building stage of one of our race bikes :th-cam.com/video/a8MTE-NISOI/w-d-xo.html

  • @skaterjoepo

    is this supposed to make the clutch and bake lighter to pull?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is no way to modify the fulcrum distance on an OEM setup but the mechanical advantage of the lever can be changed by a different lever shape. The effective distance of pull center and position in relation to the pivot will make the levers feel different than OEM ones. In the case with the levers in this video the feel is more progressive. It starts off easier than stock and then ramps up. Then you have six levels of adjustment to match your unique needs.

    @5:52 the nut on the bottom cant be loosened... it keeps rotating even if i keep the top bolt in place... anyone know what to do?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only way for that bolt to rotate in place is if the locking feature on it is damaged, or if it has been replaced with a non-OE bolt. The OE bolt has a carriage lock that fits in the perch's slot and prevents rotation so you can take off the nut. You can perhaps hold the top of the bolt with locking pliers and remove the nut but that will damage the head of the bolt and you will have to replace it. Before you resort to barbaric solutions like this please go back to the step where you push down on the bolt in the perch and make sure you are pressing the carriage lock into the slot while attempting to remove the nut.

      at the moment yes. That combination matches the colors of the switch bodies on the bars next to the levers. In the future we will be providing different color adjuster sets if someone wishes to change the adjuster color, but the levers will remain black.

      We believe we went above and beyond what any other company is offering in regards to installation help and guidance. Warning people of what can happen will hopefully set everyone up for a successful and hassle-free installation. This is the only switch on that control body so it shouldn't be hard to spot - which you can see at about 8:11-8:14.

    • @fairdinkummate8677
      @fairdinkummate8677 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      What does the switch do?

    • @samgab
      @samgab 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Switch tells the ignition circuit cut-off system to not let the starter motor turn over when the bike is in gear and the clutch lever is not pulled, and it also prevents starting when the transmission is in gear and the clutch lever is pulled, but the side-stand is down.
      Also, an easier way to install this lever on the clutch side is to install it and tighten the coach screw *before* putting the clutch cable into place. Then, after the lever is installed, slide the bead of the clutch cable into place and pull the sheath back, slipping the cable through the slots in the adjusters and into place, then adjust. Just makes it less fiddly when installing the lever, when it has no cable or tension on it at the time. That's just a tip from what I've found easier; each to their own, this is not to say the way demonstrated here won't work just fine.
