    Your video is more descriptive and detailed than even the STG, JP cycles, etc how-to vids. Thanks alot!

    I just bought a beautiful 2013 gexr600 and I want to change the stock rearsets on it. I’m not mechanical minded at all but these vids are so helpful. They make me want to try at least. Good job. 👍

    Yep while you lubricate the ball joint with the chain lube, maybe let couple drops fall on that chain :)

    • @howtomoto
      @howtomoto  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chain has been replaced with a nice new shiny gold one. (but the old chain actually had plenty of lube on the inner races)

    Where did you get that banjo bolt at?

    • @howtomoto
      @howtomoto  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just typed in "pressure banjo bolt" into ebay. Make sure you're aware of what size and thread pitch fits your bike, mine was M10 x 1.25 pitch thread

    Did the carbon fiber heel guards get scratched up from your shoes in the few days you were riding?

    • @howtomoto
      @howtomoto  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +ShadowChemos yes, i was wearing steel capped boots, not the best idea. My riding boots and normal shoes didn't scratch them.

    What site did you get that banjo bolt from

    • @howtomoto
      @howtomoto  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just went on ebay and typed "Pressure banjo bolt M10 x 1.25 pitch thread" but if you have a different bike, make sure you know what size and pitch to buy.

    I have a question. I laid my 2016 ninja 650abs down last night and my only issue is the left side rear-set is bent in causing my shifting lever to be obstructed. How can i get another piece (just that one rear set plate) by itself

    • @howtomoto
      @howtomoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have 3 options:
      Find a used one at a wrecker
      Buy that part from the dealer
      Buy a full aftermarket set
      Unfortunately, I don't think many people would be willing to sell the sets individually

    So what is that thing called on 10:31, I’ve been trying to find one for my bike and that specific part, the carbon fiber shield thing

    • @jtking4842
      @jtking4842 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe they’re called heel guards or plates. On eBay you can search just “carbon fiber rearsets” and you should find some.

    what was the torque specs for the four bolts at 12:00?

    • @howtomoto
      @howtomoto  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The rearset to the frame was 27 N.m, and the heel guard/brake master bolts were 18 N.m. This was for a 2011 Triumph Daytona 675, be sure to double check for your model of bike.

    • @howtomoto
      @howtomoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, as long as Attack or any other brand make a kit for your specific model. You can put aftermarket rearsets on most bikes.
