Freddie Mercury was just as phenomenal as Elvis, with charm, charisma, talent beyond words and the ability to do whatever they wished with an audience. I have both of them saved so I can watch their videos and/or listen to their music; they are both remarkable and while Elvis will always be considered "King" of rock & roll in the US, it's difficult for me to listen to only one of them; we lost both of them far too soon.

When I heard "Who Wants To Live Forever", I stopped what I was doing and found the song as well as Freddie on the internet.HOWEVER, Elvis Presley came on the scene in 1956 and paved the way for Pop, Rock & Roll, Classics, Gospel and anything else he wanted to sing until his death in 1977 when Queen was just getting started, EP broke the barriers for everyone else.
