Liddell vs Silva holds a special place in my heart, I was probably 12-13 and I was flipping through basic cable channels and stumbled upon “ufc unleashed” on a local net work and it was a bout between 2 savages and a kind of fight iv never seen before, the small gloves, the kicks, the elbows, and I was like “what the fuck is this?” I was astonished by the madness I was seeing ,It was my introduction to mma/ufc and it couldn’t have been introduced better by any other fighters, and that day I begged my dad to sign me up for what ever chaos I just witnessed, what ever fighting style they professed in, I wanted to learn, then I started training in Muay Thai and jiujitsu.
Gaethje vs. Chandler was absolutely the best non title fight I've ever seen, and I've watched a TON of fights. This is not just recency bias. Truly AMAZING! Gladiators!

It was a very frustrating performance by both men, but especially Wonderboy because he did nothing to solidify himself as the winner, his passivity and inactivity in fights is why I can't call myself a fan of his. Lewis vs Ngannou was a product of terrible circumstances. Give those men a rematch now when they're healthy and I guarantee its at least a decent fight.
I agree with Gaethje's take on the Chandler fight. It was exciting, but by no means at all was it competitive. Gaethje was completely in control the entire fight, but Chandler was aggressive & theatrical so people thought the fight was close. A Hall of Fame fight in terms of entertainment, but Chandler got absolutely dominated.
Chandler rocked Gaethje multiple times. Chandler won the first. Geathje won the second and third. If Chandler didn’t go theatrical in the 3rd that round would have been closer. Was a close fight
