@@cromisicko I think UFC already had started to produce promo-material for that fight. Crocop Vs. Couture might be one of the reasons UFC signed witv Crocop. Gonzaga was there to get headkicked as hype to a Randy-fight, but it all backfired. Funny when you think about it. Randy never got to fight any of these big fights. Both the fight with Crocoo and Fedor was close, but never materialised for reasons.

Cro Cop was just coming off the biggest accomplishment of his career, winning the 2006 Pride World Openweight Grand Prix against Wanderlei Silva and Josh Barnett (again) on the same night. Winning that is equivalent to winning a Championship belt in my opinion, and although he may well have lost to The Natural there is no shame in losing to someone like Randy Couture. Especially in stark contrast to someone like Gabriel Gonzaga. Same thing for Shogun Rua as well, he should have been fast-tracked to fight Rampage Jackson for the LHW belt in what could have been a Fight of the Year contender only to become an Upset of the Year victim to Forrest Griffon.
They seem to always disrespect Cro Cop on this channel. The only time they ever mention him is when they mention Gonzaga and Randleman's upset over him. Still a great channel, no disrespect. But yeah.

Georges said he managed to get to 200+ by eating so much, which is how he got diverticulitis. He weighs 183 in the morning now (said so on Bisping’s podcast a few weeks ago) and there’s no way he was only 5-7 pounds bigger at UFC 217, he’s noticeably thinner now

Have you guys already done something like a "Top Ten Legendary Losing Performances"? I think that would be a great one. Covington's losing performance in his first fight against Usman comes to mind, as well as the obvious legendary TUF match between Bonar and Griffin. I can't remember some of the others, but I do remember there being times when there was only one victor, but there was two winners.
One thing that upsets me about the UFC is they don't have video game type fights. I.E. Submission Only, Ground Game Only, Stand Up Only, No Submissions, Kick-game only, No Blocking (rofl?) That would make the matches real interesting.
