Gaethje always puts on some crazy beatdowns, either of himself or of his opponent lol, like the Tony fight was super hard to watch, but I think his most devastating beatdown was in his debut vs. Michael Johnson, where he kept putting Johnson down with punches after a 2 round absolute war, and instead of going to the ground to finish the fight, would force Johnson to get back up to take more punishment, eventually leaving Johnson collapsed in a heap with a knee to the head.
I think Gaethje wanted Johnson to pay for the ugly trash-talk in the leadup to the fight. Johnson insinuated that Gaethje was inbred and talked up a game of wanting to kill him.
Khabib vs Barboza was one of the most terrifying beat downs. Watching barboza felt like watching a baby antelope being mauled by a lion. Complete hopelessness in the eyes.
