Thank you all for your kindness. On Nov. 28/2014, Garry Taylor Handlen was arrested and charged with the murder of my Kath and Monica Jack. Monica was killed three years (I believe it was) after my Kath. I will update as I am updated. Police are keeping things close to the vest. Again, thank you.

Went for a bail hearing. Now, we have to wait two weeks for judge's decision. He will be away for that two weeks, but, he will also have to go over everything he has seen and listened to. I pray Handlen does NOT get BAIL!!!!
Sorry, next court appearance will be June 2nd when the judge will render his decision.

EXACTLY! When you love someone, especially the kind of monumental love you have for your child - it never goes away, you'll ALWAYS love that child so how, how can there ever be closure? So if that child dies(especially by murder) you don't stop loving that child which means there is no such thing as "closure".
This mother has been through unimaginable pain and heartbreak in her life. I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your children 😢.

I'm sorry for your loss. I am so cautious with my kids that I never let them walk alone anywhere at any time. Iv watched so many things and it's very scary. I'd probably not be able to live without my children. Ur a strong lady keep it up 💪

god loves you! I feel your pain. I lost my 21 year old daughter last year. I know she is in heaven with god. she received a baptism before she passed. I only hope the pain will not make you a bitter woman. maybe towards the person who killed her I can understand. I believe you will see her again. be glad it that sweet heart!

I can’t find any updates. I pray justice prevailed. My heart hurts for you. These offenders should be locked up for life not released! Time and time again they prove they are unfit for society and why anyone feels they can change is beyond me! When I saw that she’d wrote “mom is good to me” I gasped and started to cry. As a mom you hope that your child feels that way about you, so sorry and sad what happened to your family but what a sweet thing to have to hold on to. Such an admirable woman and mother.

I remember this reporter on abTV series it was like big brother Canada the very first show ! And she was studying then to be a news caster ,reporter , this was in the late 80s or 1990, somewhere around this time ! It’s so nice to see her in a Canadian show ! She was the kind and good girl of the show , also very dedicated to her future , I wish I can remember the name of the show !so amazing , God Bless her !

Mid 1975 Canada BC - 11 year old Catherine Mary said she will be home after visiting a friend and will walk home in time for supper and disappeared and later her body was found brutally murdered two months later.
