Better than the Zebra Midge?!?

This is the open wound fly suggested by our discord admin. It’s a simple pattern that appears to be a variation of the highly successful zebra midge. With the added hot spot and tail it’s easy to see why it might fish better than the zebra midge in some cases. Well worth a tie!

Yes, I tie a variation of this but use a black/peacock dub collar. Use it year round. Simple and effective. Thanks for sharing this with the people.

Kind of likea Higa's SOS which is a killer fly. Black zebra midges with red accents are awesome flies for fish with lockjaw. I like this version a lot.
