I like the wallpaper, and agree that having nothing there would be too plain. But maybe you could change the pattern to a more neutral one that wouldn't make Robert feel like he's sleeping in Barbie's Dream Cabin? 🤣
The wallpaper isn’t that bad, you’ll definitely know if you walk into the wrong room😉I would say your porthole is probably the key selling points(way better view than your NYC window)! Nice to have the fireball left over and the plant in the bathroom is nice too. All in all I think yall will enjoy this trip no matter what :-) have fun out there 🌞
I love the pink rose colored wallpaper! It gives the room personality. All of the pink is so lovely too! I bet black and white photos will look amazing with that background. I vote 🗳️ keep it. This was so fun to watch. 💕
Keep the wallpapers. The dressing table/vanity side very appropriately gives off Sephora vibes, while the bunk bed, also probably appropriately? (😉), gives off Victoria's Secret vibes. And so much nicer better than the plain ugly bottom of the bunk bed without it. So, if you can't easily cover it up with another pattern, tell Robert to just deal with it and to think "Victoria's Secret". LOL
If the bottom of the bunk is also metal, you can purchase magnetic sheets of 'School Locker Wallpaper'. Most have four 12" x 36" strips of wallpaper in them; two packages would cover 96" x 36", probably enough for that entire space. You can trim the strips, so any small left over pieces could be placed on the opposite wall around your photos as 'picture frames.' It would pull both spaces together without much effort or extra cost. I personally think the pink is okay, but not for a couples cabin. Thank you for the room tour - interesting & informative! 😊
They don’t. A lot of Indonesian and Filipino crew share multiple persons room in the bowels of the ship. No window. Bunk beds. They also work 10 to 12 hours shift for 6 months with no days off.
I think that the wallpaper looks way better than without. Is that surface magnetic too? maybe you could put up some posters and prints to cover some of the flowers…

I use these gorilla glue mounting putty squares and they work and leave no real residue. My guess is that closet bar was for belts.. and look into something called s hooks for it - might be able to get more use out of them than those metal ones
