I'm still really crap at Dota but at least I'm able to figure out what is going on and what to be aware of, somewhat.

Look guys, they are all dead with no buyback and 120 seconds death time. It is time to farm neutrals. The extra gold after 60 minutes will secure the win. It’s really not mechanics or accurate spell casting. Just horrible decision making. Herald is a place where you can decide to throw the game at minute 0 and still fail to lose. And nobody will even notice that you are trolling.
These herald reviews are not ever new players, they are the ones who have thousands of games, that’s how they get down to 10mmr level (I believe most new players calibrate around 600mmr)
I'm clearly defective because I got recalibrated to Herald after some very very unlucky matches recently, but luckily I was able to get out very quickly by simply focusing on GPM and LH/D. I will say, though, some of the people I met there were crazy mechanically skilled. You only really end up in herald from bad choices.
@@PiyushKUMAR-sg5qz Yeah you can't be a support if you want to get out of the Low MMR. You basically need to be able to solo the game if things go wrong.

No matter how good you are, if your pos5 decides to cry because he was told to pick first and leaves you alone in the now "safe" lane and goes jungle, you're fked. There's also those kind of players who's so petty, they grief you the entire game, stealing your creeps and follows you around the map, to steal your creeps, then when enemy is chasing you, he body blocks you. These are the kinds of people who makes you wish they get actual cancer or some shih.
being herald is fun man. there's carries underestimating supports damage so they jump without thinking they will die with that full health, full mana support with all the spells online, and contesting THE SAME FUCKING WARD SPOT OVER AND OVER AGAIN, etc.

Besides buybacks and clearing mega creeps is there a reason why they just stood around giving Radiant a chance again and again to win?
I wonder what would happen if an immortal player coaches a full herald team by making every single decision himself (item choices, gank calls, roshan calls, pushing calls, etc.). Can they win games consistently? They just lack one sane person who is capable of making “okay” calls during the game.
People underestimate the thousands of little subconscious decisions that are being made every second of the game. It surely would give them a boost but you can't plant the experience of an immortal player into them. Would be interesting to see what winrate they would get though. You don't even need an immortal player for that but just one person who organises the team is enough to give a huge advantage. I mean if you look at the top pros the true differences are mostly how well they play together as a team.
@@sonkeschmidt2027 well said. up to divine, you don't need to be at perfect efficiency to win games. you just need to know when to do what, and position yourself well during fights. I just wonder what would happen if this lack of knowledge (or experience) could be fixed by the help of a good player. my guess is that they can win up to 80% of the time and quickly rank up. there is a reason why herald games never end at 30 minutes or less. they are simply terrible at converting advantages to wins. dota is more of a mental game than reaction/mechanics game.

It's just that, once skills are rather equal it becomes very mental since the by-design unfair mechanics punish slight mistakes heavily so even if you are equal skill, a slight oversight can render that irrelevant, which needs you to be mentally at your hight as well... And which is why many prefer to play lo l=)
I must point out something very cruicial about Herald in Europe. Europe is suffering from smurfs, especially during free events like now. Herald in Europe is like Crusader/Archon in US. I know because I play on both servers. In US they have no team play in the lower brackets.

I have more or less been dota burned out especially because of SEA, had a few completely won games have a bunch of asian's go full SEA mode and dive fountains, feed away the win and just go IDK go lose... Much more soothing to watch than play now.
I'm finally climbing out of herald after playing dota for nearly 3000 hours I would 1v1 my legend friend and we had about a 60/40 WR against each other but he made a Smurf and sometimes I would lose more queing with the legend lmao
Meanwhile in my Guardian games your support hands you all three tangos at the start of the game then pulls the wave while its under your tower so you tank creeps, then never buys another healing item for the rest of the game. Is Herald > Guardian?

herald replays are just always epic because most people play so bad that there is infinite comeback potential and you rarely know who wins
