This is one of the most best herald reviews ever. It got everything: heroes not picking neutral item tokens, sick outplays on both teams, great base defense, ability abuse, and even trash talks. Complete package!

being in Herald is low prio by default. What they need to do is boost his mmr gain by a lot 1k mmr per win till he makes it to his level before you know it smurfs are not smurfing anymore

This is obviously a derank situation. Pretty common in DotA and LoL. People smurf, beat low-ranked people with some heroes and then purposely lose later on different heroes just to keep a big win streak and playing versus noobies.
How do u know so many things you must be a smurf as well

@@voodoo192yep. If you think about it. If you are a smurf, there are only two ways to not rank up: play hero’s you are still learning so you don’t just outclass everyone. Or lose on purpose so your talent levels don’t result in ranking up to a more accurate MMR

it actually shocks me how they are not banned, I once helped my friend in Herald to play a few games because he said his teammates suck and he can never win. I am not that good only legend, but I proceeded to completely own 2 games with bristle and he got a one year ban the next day. How was Valve so fast that time and not when its people like these I have no clue.

In the app dev's infinite wisdom, the algorithm's "top comment" is displayed front and center screen immediately after clicking on the video. If one is not consciously thinking to not look at the comment, it is very easy to subconsciously read it immediately, which is what happened here.
It is clearly bot comment, and I'm sick of having videos spoiled in this way. If it is a human, quit making asinine comments that literally just say what happens in the video and offer nothing else substantive

Without having the time to see the video I have to agree with the title. As a herald/low guardian player since 2013 I've been amazed at the uneven:ness of the rank currently. Most games got 60 -10 or 10 - 60.
They don't care about experience of normal people they only balance and make the game for pro players aka the .000001 percent.

Valve should create a purgatory for smurfs where instead of getting queued into a ranked game they get sent to a custom game against 5 divine or above players with only bots as teammates.
Wonder how much the divine players will appreciate you’re suggestion.
I have a better one for you. They all into a Smurf lobby but then they get glitches, unbalance (one player start with 2k gold, one player damage is reduced by 30%, kill always go to someone else) and it alternates so get shitted on by other Smurf every other game.
I think they should just ban them instead of wasting other people's times.

I lived most of my dota life in 200 to 1k MMR, trust me when I say that the AA intentionally AFK'd in the end out of spite for his team.

i think kotl, aa and pango are a smurf party... techies and bloodseeker were shit talking them in allies chat, so they didnt help push lol i think thats the most likely situation thats why they ended up throwing the game
They were always going to throw the game. Smurfs are afraid of playing against people they can't beat, so they lose low skill games on purpose so they can keep trashing low skill players without needing to actually win.

Being a 6k player whos typically in party with a 7k one Ive not seen smurfs in a long time. Actually I often see reverse smurfs with players giving their high mmr smurfs to their friends to they can play together.

The force staff on bs is from dota 1 in the begging when they realeased force staff it was a thing .
I was herald 3 with 2k behavior score...I lost mmr as i lost behavior score until the new patch. Im so thankful ahahah now being archon 1 with 10k behavior score...moral of the story dont get low behavior score and low mmr that sir is worse than LP

I played the game after 4yrs and yes this afk are common late game idk why this pure heralds.... They just either stay inside the fountain or stand beside the base and completely ignore the creeps.... or 1v5 somewhere with 34 death
but Idk if they are actually afk or just watching other's play, ignoring their own situation... because as everyone is random with language barriers you can understand some words and I realized when they said tank and laughing as I did 1v4 and escaped after killing 2 inside 3rd tower with critical hp. They were at mid taking tower hits and yes completely afk

Was Guardian 5 last season. With Glicko I went up to Crusader 4. I though "Ok, this is gonna be great." 5 matches in a row someone just decides they are going to go my lane, or just go AFK and ignore the team.

I feel like Jenkins videos have some weird compression or bitrate issues. It always looks weirdly low quality despite having it on high settings. But it's more like artifacting than just straight up poorer quality, don't know enough about computers to know what I'm talking about but the quality is noticeably worse than it should be.

I was a herald before they changed the mnr system, now im unranked playing with crusader 4s with a 12% placement confidence

i ranked up from 2k to 3.1 and i just realized that 2k bracket looks better players respect their roles while 3k players just pick random heroes and ruin the game
