Now you understand why some people go off mentioning this game vs the EA games. If they could do this back then, I gotta wonder why EA can't? Also, it has PrideFC rules too. You can go soccer kick people, and knee to grounded opponent. Also, the 10 minute first round! Greatest MMA game ever, easily.

@@RemingtonMiles-sr9uf I enjoyed EA MMA, but as an MMA game it was fairly limited. Very animation heavy, limited ground game. The things I think it did very well are the fighters stance matching the actual fighter, and online fight cards! Come on EA UFC.

Bro I was number 5 in the world 10 years ago in this game , I had so much fun. You’re gonna get crazy how EA can’t have a game like that, it’s a shame. Your gonna see how we feel about the EA Game , the clinch and the ground are 4 times better and Ko animations are very exciting

use the left bumper to throw advanced techniques. similar to ufc 4. i also recommend play on simulation for the energy system cuz you dont have any stamina penalty on the normal setting. you posture up but holding up on the left stick. you can also use the right bumper and your right stick while striking to weave. hope that covers up a good bit of the basics please continue playing this pry i want you to see how in depth this shit is compared to the new bs

ive been playing this on my pc for the last year and the mods have gotten unreal, the game runs way better then it did on the emulator a year ago. i used to crash often now I never crash.
How you get it on pc?

I’m here for Pry on Undisputed. I use to battle 99 Cafs with the monster Kevin Randleman online. Suplex them followed with those high knees.
Hey Pry, just wanna let you know that the create a fighter textures hardly ever load and made the game crash a few times. Had a ton of fun with this game on RPCS3 but couldn't deal with not being able to see my fighter. All of the famous ranked fighters in the game should have textures that work perfectly. For me I ended up just rocking with my boy Kenny Florian and played through the career with him. Once you break into the rankings and stop fighting fighters that are unranked and not in pride or ufc they will all have visible textures. Something with the emulation makes the random create a fighter textures go all wonky like that.
If you turn on write color buffers in the GPU settings in RPCS3 it should get rid of that.

I cant get this game to run smoothly on rpcs3 for the life of me bro, crashes on vulkan within the first second of the round so I run on openGL. love this game but the visual errors and stuff is gonna make me just buy a ps3 honestly

Less explosive and dramatic ragdolls than UFC 2 but take inspiration from them , hit em up with a mix of UFC 3 and Undisputed 3’s grappling (clinch from 3 and mix of both for G&P) directly copy and paste that into UFC 5 without removing the other new features and animations (striking) tweak the damage system so it actually permanently damages and has a real effect, nerf stamina to stop spam wars then release as patch for UFC 5 and watch the fans and content creators go crazy af for the game
facts, this is the best ufc game ever made, im currently playing through the career of ufc 5 on legendary and it irritates me theres so much stuff misssing. example, bruce buffer skips half the announcements when introducing fighters like their record, fighting style and so on, no press confrence cut scenes for pre fight hype, fight always comes to a halt after a ground and pound ko or any ko for that matter would really add to the immersion if you could carry on punching untill the ref dragged you off and so many other things i cant be bothered to type, the price for games for ever goes up and the quality of games forever goes down, thq was the best thing to ever happen to ufc and as always ea sports was the worst

You have never played this game pry!? Every single ea ufc game that drops I am comparing it to this game. That's why I am always so pissed with EA. There is no reason we should have farrrrr less content versus a game that is over a decade old. Let alone FINALLY just now getting refs who do their jobs in ufc 5, instead of phasing in and out of existence.

Peoples nastagla is causing them to misremember this game.
Bro wait till you learn how to posture up and rain down ground and pound, or get in seated cage posture and cage walk, or learn those power knees from side and back side control. If you want to play a wrestling heavy style, this is the only UFC that truly gets it right. There's a definite learning curve, especially coming from EA, but at least your takedowns aren't the same controls as your body straights. Striking is pretty basic, but at least you don't have atrocious input lag. Every new game in the series was a step forward, EA UFC took a step back after 3 and stagnated on 5. They still to this day haven't done basic fundamental stuff that is in this game. The graphics and animations aren't as good, and it's missing the ability to fight for your takedown which is one thing I like in UFC 4, but at the rate these games were improving between each installment it kinda sucks to think about what could've been had THQ not tanked and EA taken over the contract.
