Lol...I was born under a name I never used. Every other document since birth was under my current name(1st immunization and school records, military ID and dd214, social security). Wasn't an issue until after 9/11 where I was no longer able to get my drivers license because I had no matching proof of birth document. Eventually had to get a passport using my older sister to sign an affidavit that said that I had never used my birth name. Sad part was, despite my 6 years in the Marine Corps, having volunteered at the world trade center, and the fact that they could literally see my picture on file with my license, the NY DMV at the time refused to give me a copy of my license, stating, "You could be a terrorist."
Used to be a notary 15 years ago. I remember thinking it odd there’s no training? They just handed me my stamp. Should there be training?

DMV would not issue me license when I got married because my copy of my birth certificate had a space in my first name and my other legal docs didn’t.
Tennessee messed up my name on my fishing license years ago. Now that misspelling follows my SS# and presents a real hassle
