I cannot praise Science Saru and their incredible team enough. They know exactly what to animate and they can leave static for seamless animation. The only shot where I noticed the CGI crab was when it jumped in front of the duo and attacked, the claw I could notice. I didn't notice at all that every time the crab was animated it was CGI

If they were drawn they'd look too pretty and non scary. They even animated them moving funny but people just dont get it. Like how people cry for mappa to treat employees well and give them breaks then also cry that chainsawman isnt coming out fast enough oh they should have animated every chain on his chainsaw moving each frame...you know time wasters, then complained that AOT took too long to come out and they wanted wit to do it cause they animate better then complain that it took it's time to break it into parts and give nearly movie quality final eps and oh you get it.
I agree with your take on the CGI. Even during the Flatwoods Monster ordeal where the CG was a lot more obvious, surprisingly enough the CGI didn't feel as jarring as, say, the bad shots of Momonosuke's dragon form in One Piece where the CGI looked insanely off. I don't know how Science Saru does it, but their CGI use although still easy to tell apart from the non-CGI elements and still stands out a bit, doesn't have this dissonant feel that obvious CGI elements usually has against non-CGI elements in the foreground, background, or mainground.
I only noticed when they were running over it in the end. It has that backface culling look you get from up-close CG line art but was still impressive af

It would be cool if u made a vid about the production issues regarding the blue lock anime and how the recent eps are animated. It feels like another MAPPA situation except the studio doesn't have a lot of 2nd key animators and it is a much smaller studio compared to MAPPA.
Would be interesting to see anything what I've miss about the production issue but it's confirmed already that the production is very mismanaged and in Twitter one of blue lock animator stated that his work is 2d but due to schedule it was impossible, don't remember every word the animator said but he was so shameful about the result that he left the studio

the most impressive thing is that PP last line isn't recycled but it is re-recorded all the time. I have some problems with 3DCG models movement in some occasions, and very low frame rates in some scenes, but it was a very impressive episode overall, my favorite scene is obviously the highlight, that Okarun running and flying sequence while momo is using her abilities is insane.

The dandadan ep was nuts or to say top teir animated. And cgi was definitely one of the best for seasonal anime in all of anime for me. The only complain I have is the coloring of red was very overpowering atleast for me. It just not bad but very strong and overpowering. However hoping today's bleach ep to be really well animated cause staff is really stacked and chengxi is one of animation director so hoping today's ep to be best of cour 3 so far.

But it IS ambitious. Let's put my dislike of the Red, Green and Blue filters and some cartoonish animation aside for a second, the Storyboards, Layouts, the fu**ing unique angels, the background animation and the amount of foreground character in each scene are so ridiculously complicated we don't see much of in anime.
Besides doing a video about Bleach, but going deep and not saying something like it was alright, there's not much to talk about, you should also do a video about The Legends of Vox Machina. This last, third, season had so many nice fights and animation, also really good CGI.
The overly red background takes away from the scene personally a stary night with only the monsters being red would of given a better vibe and would highlight them instead of taking it away But on the up part it did have the chaotic element of dandadan

I agree with your take on the CGI.
