    This video was amazingly helpful! My #4 spark plug and ignition coil were both blown and no mechanic shop were open over the weekend. Got everything from my local parts store and did it in my driveway with this video. 😸

      Got any pics of the spark plugs and ignition coil?
      My #4 cylinder is misfiring and hoping that this is the issue and something causing a compression issue (head gasket, piston rings, etc).

    • @leemckenna8214

      @@krlm2280 no.. The 250 has an extra bracket that covers the 2nd plug. Theres no way around taking the intake off. You only need to get it loose and then shift it to the side for about 10 seconds. Its super annoying. Be careful with the bolt on the BACK of the intake! Im having an issue with one right now.

    I just finished changing the spark plugs. But I did it the hard way : / I took off the manifold and it was one of the hardest things to do, because of the screw that's hiding on the backside. The easy way to take off is a power tool, because of the confined area. If I would have seen your video I would have finished in no time. Thanks for this video till next time I need to change the plugs.

    Thanks for this vid, helped me a lot! Was a bit annoying to get some of those plugs lose, apart from that it was fine.
    And to those who don't have a swivel socket, a little wrench (preferably ring wrench) works too for those annoying ignition coil bolts! It's a bit tricky but it works.

      @@RodriguezRepairs thank you i figured that out it ended up just being the ignition coil easy fix! also found a way quicker way to do the right bank! you just unscrew 2 10mm bolts, then you can reach all 3 ignition coils, instead of disconnecting all the camshaft sensors like you did in the video. figured that out because the camshaft sensor wouldn’t disconnect and i had to find an alternative

    • @RodriguezRepairs
      @RodriguezRepairs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well that's the thing, some mechanics have always used it, and some swear against it, most modern spark plugs will contain a coating on the thread to protect against corrosion and seizing of the plug but depends on manufacturer and brand. So in my opinion, a small amount is fine as long as you don't over torque the plug.
