  • There is nothing more frustrating than rinsing out a root tint and seeing that sparkle of dreaded white/grey along the hairline.
For those white stubborn hairs this technique is perfect to ensure flawless coverage every time and reduce the chance for a redo service. It can also be used with foils when lifting a client with dark roots to create extra insulation and provide a boost in lifting.
After applying a fully saturated root touch-up application, we use perm papers to essentially control any stubborn white hair that won’t lay flat in the colour. Gently place paper on the hairline to capture those pesky hairs, gently press into hairline to ensure it stays put. With the added bonus of adding extra heat to those difficult areas you can ensure no sparkles will shine through at the end of your colour service.

Thank you 😊 it works so well by getting those pesky grey to sit flat into the saturated colour. I knew those old perm papers would come in handy one day 😉
