Ehh. With how often motors and transmissions are changing its like the same thing. I work at a car dealership and the answer to this question just a couple years ago would obviously be the Tacoma, but the new generation of Nissan trucks has SERIOUSLY kicked it up a notch. They're incredibly well made from my experience in them, drive very smooth and have a bunch of very good features. Kind of the perfect rival to the Tacoma in the midsized truck market, and the full size titan is also a huge improvement on older models.
I believe Nissan is cutting the Titan
Nissan is saying .. Hold my beer !!
The exhaust on that Tacoma 👌🏽
this video is very helpful. i will now buy a toyota corolla
73k miles on my frontier factory tires and brakes still. Oil change every 5k no issues yet they did good
Either one is a great truck
that tacoma is gonna last a hell of a lot longer
You know what your saying
in the repair shop
@@tsp259teaspoon5 you realize toyotas are known for dying with the highest milage right?
Ehh. With how often motors and transmissions are changing its like the same thing. I got my frontier before they changed them up and it was 27 grand for a 4x4 and has the downhill crawl (which is dope) and since they've had the same motor and transmission for so long they know what goes wrong and how to fix it. And it's not covered in electrical bullshit like newer vehicles are. At least neither of the trucks have turbos! Lol
@@tsp259teaspoon5 stop lying, you are just hating. They last longer than whatever you own.
Frontier for the 320 hp V6
It’s actually 310HP
Is this not the luckiest guy on TH-cam these days or what!!!
Test driving all these cars like a rock star!!!
I'd buy the Toyota in a heartbeat if it comes in white and they can print TOYOTA on the tailgate in black bold block letters.

GOTTA GO TACOMA !!! Can't beat that track record !
Cope
Runs like a 4 cylinder and waste gas like a V8 .
And we love it
NISSAN has over 60 years of track record since bringing their 1st pickup to the US in 1959, with not a single generation of junk. Can't beat that either. Some Frontiers have run a million miles.
Weird how people get "Toyota amnesia" sbout stuff like the THOUSANDS of rotten Tacoma frames they had to replace!
@@TIJoe-te9quplus Scotty Kilmer gave it his blessing. The old ones at least you👍
Frontier beats the Tacoma in every important head to head. You name it. Yes including reliability, those C-channel frames in the Tacoma rust and rot, unlike the Frontiers fully boxed frame, which is nuke proof.
-Frontier 310HP > Tacoma 278HP
-Frontier Torque 281 lb-ft >Tacoma 265 lb ft
-Frontier Fully Boxed Frame >Tacoma C-Channel Frame
-Frontier Disc Brakes > Tacoma Drum Brakes
Frontier has a premium interior, ride, transmission, seating, head room, materials/fit & finish, more safety features, better crash test, spray-in bed liner, the list goes on and on…not to mention styling, especially in the Pro-4X.
I like that ghost way more than gfuel
no way y’all are tripping over what he said about the spot for the drink. he wasn’t even upset lmao
Shouldn’t have even been mentioned tbh
@@GabrielGarcia-ul9mg he was comparing them though
They jokin bro lol
Buddy, the entire tail gate is a place to your drink
Lol yea
Have a 2024 frontier and love it. Best truck I’ve had!!
Toyota has probably one of my favorite rev limiter sounds
Don’t ever disrespect the Tacoma like this again.

I recently bought the new frontier And it’s AWESOME
My 2011 tacoma has 300000km and still kicks like the day I bought it in 2011. Haven't even dropped $5k in maintenance. Oil changes, tires, axles, steering rack bushings and suspension were the only parts replaced so far.
We have a 2001 Rav w/almost 320,000 miles on it. Only basic maintenance. And shes still driving across the state of Florida. We liked it so much we just bought a 2023 Rav 4 TRD. I couldn't be happier. Toyota everyday , all day!
@@DieselDog1982 not really considering it was off roaded frequenlty. Axles were only replaced because of torn boots. The boots on their own OEM were only $40 less than new axles. Bushings were $90 and the most expensive of it all was the suspension which ran approx $2500. Clutch was replaced under warranty at 100,000km and the new clutch lasted 206,000km towing a 3500lb trailer for 6 years. I'd say best overall cost in maintenance over the 12 years I owned the truck.
My drive shaft fell out of mine at 120k miles. And wheel bearings went bad. Now brakes feel funny.
Im rocking with the Tacoma all day!
No where to put my drink😂😂😂
I love this question as I just bought a Tacoma this year
I just bought mine last week!
How is it? For daily use like a daily driver
Lmao how do you even call that little 1/8" recessed circle "a spot to hold my drink." But the Toyota obviously
Both of them looked nice and comfortable driving
And it’s V6 :)
I have a soft spot for the Frontier. Really comfortable seats. But the Tacoma is great too. They're both excellent.
Both are cool trucks that get the job done my dad has a Nissan frontier 07 that's about to hit 300,000 miles same engine and transmission it surprises me how well that truck still together after being with us for 15 years
Edit: is 04 model not a 07
thats the reason papi. Its a good reliable OLD MODEL
I can’t stand the turning radius on any Nissan frontier !!
@@cestgum7672So? No one is complaining about reliability on the new ones either. Great ratings fron JD Power for Frontiers.

The tacoma has one more thing- the crawl mode
I can't afford either, but I'd have to look at the interior if I had to pick one
I would have to go toyota for reliability and how it looked soooo much better at off roading
