    I like you’re work ethic. You’re serious about what you’re doing out there to be efficient and make money. You gotta know where everything is can be digging through a bunch of junk looking for stuff all the time.👍👍👍 yeah that filter needed to be changed a minute ago👍👍👍

    I was with TMC from 98 to 07. Good starter company and i did enjoy my time there. Started hauling cars with United Road and im now with Virginia Transportation. Im pretty good at profiling people and you seem to fit the bill. Also you live in a very good area . Think about it. You load and unload yourself so no waiting. No tarping. And a lot more money. Also, no mud holes or job sights. And more home time. Just food for thought. Hit me up if you have any questions . Stay safe my friend.

    How does that feel to switch trucks? Was you excited? Did you give you trucks a pet name? Did it feel like you had to learn the truck all over? I'm excited for you. Yeah, you getting back on the road. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 My truck's name is Christine,lol

      Switching trucks is a bit of a chore. I don't much care for the process. 😅
      The new truck was very similar to my previous one, so there weren't many new features to figure out.

    Bro! My operations manager made sure I got a new truck when mine broke down. I told him it wasn’t right to have an experienced driver in an older truck that is breaking down and new drivers out of school are getting brand new trucks. I do like that your truck has the X15 Cummins in it and hopefully it will be reliable for you. My weekly average had gone down to $2600/week because of breakdowns.

    • @EruditeTrucker
      @EruditeTrucker  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      A brand new truck would be a nice upgrade. 😅
      I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scratching my head a bit every time I see a brand new driver with a basically fresh off the line truck. I hypothesize that the new guys that come out of Des Moines have an easier time getting those trucks because they're at the epicenter of the company.

      @@EruditeTrucker l kept calling my ops manager and finally my truck took its final 💩in Frost Proof Florida. The tech they sent out said that the head gasket was going so l asked him to tell them exactly that, next thing I know my phone was ringing with 3 options, 2 in Gaston (being repaired but new), and one that was ready to go with only 36k in Joplin. I packed my things and they got me a rental and I drove to Joplin. It’s crazy to give the new guys new trucks and you’ve got guys like you doing a great job and you’ve got to recover one. Keep doing the good job that you do, maybe they’ll see.

      Well, honey, if you have problems with this truck. God forbid, the company can not say you've complained about nothing. May they bless you with a brand new truck. You deserve it. But in the meantime, appreciate it, take care of it and you'll get bigger, better and more. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

    How long on average u spend on securing Load in general I’m 3 months in at TMC nd I spend damn near 1hr 30 is that to slow. Because I think I’m taking up to much time

    • @EruditeTrucker
      @EruditeTrucker  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      My securement speed depends on what type of freight I'm securing. Shingles are way faster than skidded coils, for example. With you being so new to the job, I wouldn't focus on speed at all, focus on precision, and learn proper load securement technique. The speed will come with experience.

    • @fredrick8947
      @fredrick8947 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@EruditeTruckerthanks man I really appreciate it because I had a load of slinky coils it took me almost two hours to get my securement pulling the right way so the load won’t shift etc

    • @EruditeTrucker
      @EruditeTrucker  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Most new drivers take longer to hone securement technique, which is not abnormal. It's better to take longer and get it right than to hurry and have a load shift or accident.
