Finally found a tutorial without annoying music. Most have music, and no voice explaining how to do it. Thank you for your explaining and showing it so well!

Omg thank you for this video! I just beame interested in embroidery like 2 days ago and have been going through tutorial videos like crazy. Yours is the only video that explained when or for what a specific stitch is used. Most other tutorials show how to do a stitch but either don't name it or say what the stitches are used for. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it.

Only problem I have and remember I am a true beginner, Is how you threaded your needle and where you knotted it at etc etc. So for that I had to jump to a completely different how to video and people do things differently. But Thank you so much. Yes I had to rip out stitches and try again but that is the beauty of pause, rewind, and fast forward lol

Loudiva Pramudya hey there! Thank you. Make sure you stop stitching with an amount of floss you feel that you are able to tie a knot with. I usually just tie one knot but if you are working with say 1 or 2 strands of floss maybe tie a double knot to be safe! The knot should sit against the backside of the fabric and then you can trim the ends with small scissors

@riverbirchthreads4791 should we be doubling our embroidery thread/threading the needle so the floss is like a double strand?
And with the back stitch, do you just push the needle back through the same hole as the previous stitch? Or do you actually split the threads of the previous stitch and push through them?

Hello, THANK YOU FOR MY EDUCATION WITH YOUR STYLE OF GREAT TEACHINGS! I have a QUESTION PLEASE&THANKS. HOW LONG /SHORT IS A STITCH LENGTH??? (do I count the tiny holes 3 or 5 spaces to the right from starting point after coming UP?) I am an EAGER SUPER DUPER BEGINER!

I cosplay and I want to outline and fill spaces which stitch would be better in the long run? Because the piece I'm trying to embroider is a jean jacket and I want the design to hold up well but look really full and almost factory made

If it’s a large area you are filling in I would actually recommend a technique called long and short stitch as satin stitches might be to long (depending on the size of the area being filled) and won’t have that secure quality you are looking for.

Clear easy directions but I really struggle with the chain stitch. I made up a story to help me do the stitch; "a bunny pops up from its burrow and pops down the same rabbit hole. The bunny hops forward, but needs to go back to its original burrow to pop out and take a look around, then the bunny goes down that exact same burrow. The bunny hops forward again, and again needs to go back to its original burrow to take a look around before hopping ahead again". Silly but following the bunny has really helped me to get this stitch going. I still need lots and lots of practice.🐰🐰🐰🐇
