Very true and one of the biggest obstacles for children to come to school if they do not have school supplies. Their confidence and learning is affected when they don't have school supplies.

The children were very happy with school supply gifts. Uganda is a beautiful country. The market/shops are clean and well organized. People are very humble and enjoy their daily lives.

There is nothing wrong with giving toys to children, they are only little for a little while. School supplies are important but those are things the parents must afford, toys are gifts directly to the children.

Yes my mom is ugandan and she craved the stones when she was pregnant. She says it's origin has something to do with mineral deficiency during pregnancy.
