You are such a good neighbour. You never forget to give your neighbour the extra fruit or food you have..
I believe they share with neighbors not because they always have extra but because sharing what you have in general is a good practice.
Alot of families in Uganda are like that but you still have alot of caring people in United States. I see men and women begging everyday on Los Angeles streets , and ordinary citizens give them money or food.
I love the community spirit, picking fruits to share with neighbours. I wish we could all return to this lifestyle. ❤

The English name is Arbutus or Mandarin Yang Mei. When we were younger it was sold as dried sweet preserve like sweet lime.
Years later, China exported the fresh fruits to our country. The sales season is very short as turns bad & mushy easily bcos our tropical hot weather. End of last month I saw it being sold ( Chinese technology has improved) rather big but frozen at our local supermarket. Is very expensive her.

We have been married 53years and my husband still buys me flowers and chocolates at unexpected times for no reason, he carries bags opens doors including the car door he even surprised me last week with a beautiful necklace just because. Some men really are keepers and yes he makes me laugh and sings to me as he did when I was 15 and first dated him.

I know. It is sad and heartbreaking. I am praying for change and I try everyday to Treat people the way I want to be treated. If I am then mistreated, I withdraw and protect myself. That's all you can do. You reach out in kindness and love and can get attacked and abused. Then you withdraw in pain and confusion. Sometimes you just stop trying.
