- After dealing with quite a barebones online experience since launch, we are finally getting some proper dedicated PvP matchmaking and ranked modes.
Usually the PvP scene is what keeps these games alive up until the next installment so I think it's a great decision to keep things interesting and fresh with more modes, maps, brand new parts and balance adjustments - kudos to From Software once again for knowing how to keep the ball rolling.
I'm very excited to see what comes next for Armored Core 6.
(Might be totally placebo or unfounded but I do FEEL like the netcode has also improved quite a bit?)

I prefer to use the legs for Wuerger punching. Lets me budge into landing a hit

Honestly, this update is a good step for the longevity of the game.
If they keep this up then they might correct a lot of things people are unhappy about
@@SilverGlint I'm already having more fun in PvP today. I was worried at first, but I started playing with more mid range stuff and realized it had become viable. Good update.

I'm not much of a competitive player but I might give it a try for ac6. I just wish there was a casual quickplay option, wouldn't mind lobbies if we were able to talk in them or at least use keyboards.
Looks like I need to optimize my favorite acs cause I sure as hell not gonna chase after meta stuff if it isn't fun.
I'm still hoping for quickplay modes and the ability to team up with a premade 3 pilot squad on the queues
@@SilverGlint above all else I want co-op pve missions or events that would require you to make acs designed for specific tasks.

I just love how there are two sides of thought with the update. Those that love the PVP features and those that hate it. I love it, but people say the ranked ruins it because people are mainly using Meta Builds, for one you don't have to play ranked, and two this will help the devs further balance the game as they have more data to work with.
You're completely right, ranked modes always add longevity to the game because people want to work towards something.
There will always be meta knights even in casual lobbies or even with friends.
More content and modes is always good it's MORE
It's good to see the true legendary silver glint back again☺️☺️ plus how are you doing and I got some good news I tested out the new AC and it works beautifully and it's fast real fast plus it's good for this PVP matches like this in case if you're having I may have a bill that should be able to help you with PVP just in case in case if you're getting stronger and faster opponents even so I'll give you a list of build this should help you get to S-rack : 2 vientos : 1bml-g1 : Vvc-774LS : 3Lammers parts and you can switch the head if you want to, : nachtreher/42E and finally the inside of this machine, ALula/21E : OCELLUS :SAN-TAN and in case if they get a little cocky you can use assault armor or terminal armor if it's so this builds will be super helpful for you and it is considered a gift for return plus the health on this unit will be 7860 and if you need to switch the head it is this part right nachtreher/44e and let me just say it is an honor seeing you back again silver glint 😁😁👍👍 and I almost forgot to mention its nickname it is called the Grand champion killer

3v3s are just really fun, plain and simple.
A shame the netcode is a bit wonky atm with melee weapons hit registration and especially when dual wielding the new laser cannons and that hitting people that dodged all the way out of rubicon (funnily enough single laser cannon seems to register it decently well, it is with dual wielding that I have seen weird interactions) so I hope From keeps working on the netcode but damn has it been a fun update and I haven't even made an AC with the new stuff. As much as I wish they made the lobbies better (have multiple matches going on at once etc) cause I like how more personal it is being able to get match after match non-stop in ranked has been a blast, the new (old) maps have been really fun and I might like them more than the old (old) maps just to due how much reliable cover they have (and I'll do anything to get away from top watchpoint delta) and the balancing feels more ok-ish even if as a whole the PvP side is still very broken.
Dunno if the game will ever be balanced enough to be "competitively viable" but even if the PvP stays kusoge forever it will be MY kusoge.
I love how this very much so follows tradition of Armored Core PvP being completely kusoge. Armored Core is back!!

The LoveArk Inc Corp Foundational Family Organization will highly encourage everyone to play Ranked matches as you will discover a new skill set of being a RAVEN that will translate back to the actual singleplayer campaign.
With that being said, I hope future patches enable crossplatform online play.

The lammegeier legs have almost for answer level quickboosts while in hovermode lol. They also have better vertical jumps than pretty much any biped other than the nachtreiher.

I haven't played the game in months after 100%ing the game. Hopping back into it straight to pvp was a mistake lmao just got absolutely slammed

The copium that multiplayer is good finally is real. Please, i beg you, dont spread lies that AC6 multiplayer is good now. All its done is shown that ratts, hover missile boats, and duel vientos with a melee weapon have always been the reason why multiplayer was crap, and this update has brought these mechs to the forefront of the games multiplayer.
Have you seen me saying this game's multiplayer is good?
I'm saying the update is fun, which it is.
I don't grind competitively or care for a throw away feature of this game.
It's just pretty fun not having to slog through lobbies to get matches, having an active patch schedule and more maps and parts to play with.
Armored Core PvP has been shit since forever, old gen pvp sucks, 4th gen pvp is mediocre and 5th gen pvp is okay to good at times.

@SilverGlint Okay, im sorry. I see where I was wrong. I misinterpreted the title of your video. In my mind, I replaced the word "update" with "multiplayer" and went from there. I reacted like that, and I was like, "That's some bs, imma say why it's bs" and didn't really think beyond that.
Yes, the update was very good, and finding matches lickity split is great, and new parts are always welcome.
Sorry for the confusion on my part. Multiplayer has been making me mad.
@@Zippyd00da132 no worries Raven, we are all part of the same team, I too dislike meta slaves, uninspired grinding and copy paste optimization in a game where you can make YOUR OWN inventions.
I am not a fan of this version of multiplayer either but I can see how it is fun in the right environment.
