metalcore needs clear vocals ... these guys just scream all the time, but of course, I agree its very good band. There is not too many great metalcore bands out there. Maybe 5-8

How the Fuck is this band not a leading force in the metal scene?? These are actual songs, not sequences of notes peiced together one at a time on guitar pro. So many starts, stops, drops chord changes, but still revolves around a big catchy riff

Decent guitar riffs, drummer's got Jägermeister logo, vocalist is trying to explode his tonsils.... Pretty much everything that is needed for a metal band!

This is a rare example of deathcore band that actually has some riffs unlike modern popular bands of genre like Suicide Silence or Thy Art Is Murder that play same cacophonic chord with different timing throughout their songs. BFW guys are really talented and technical, one of the best examples of their skill is their bonus song See You In Hell, but other songs are no worse

It's good because BFW use melodic death metal riffs :) The guitars are not as good in this song rather than the other songs from the album :D The other songs from the album are much better :D
Not trying to argue or anything, but check out Requiem by Thy Art Is Murder, it's an instrumental and it's fucking beautiful in my eyes and it fades into the next song seamlessly :-)
But yeah I get a different vibe from BFW than I do with SS or TAIM, which I think is a good thing, adding melodic riffs change the mood and feeling from the songs IMO so I like that not all deathcore/metal bands do that, and keep it to just the good ol' fashioned chugga-chugga sound :P

Mate i agree they are awesome and to be frank... all those people that are butthurt over this band need to go out and start a band just to learn the stresses and stuggles of actually being a metal band. And why the fuck are people saying these guys are new. I know for a fact that they started towards the end of last decade and i love the change they are bringing with this new album!

Literally everyone's excuse for not liking a band is "this sounds like every other band in this genre" and its honestly annoying. Not every band sounds the same. Some bands may sound the same, but not every single one does. And its so fucking annoying. Just say you don't like the band, and quit using the lame annoying ass excuse.

Good point, I don't like rap and every rap song sounds the same to me, but people like all of it and don't bash it for being too similar. They are in the genre of rap, so they sound like rap. This is just Deathcore, and that's what it should sound like

Well it draws a lot from Deathcore even though it is kinda closer to Metalcore. But I think it's a very unique style imo, drawing elements from Metalcore, Deathcore, Melodeath and even Hardcore which you can notice in the screachy vocals at times. Even though some of the styles derive from eachother I think this manages to draw out individual niches from all and create something special that is beyond just mere Metalcore or Deathcore

I honestly think, knowing all the bands and different genres in metal, that this band is the best so far. Seriously. They make me feel alive inside. This feeling of punching everything and everyone around me. It makes me happy.

The only reason why I was upset really is because it was a real chance for many other fucking iconic or just down right amazing more classic metal bands to play or at least of that style. Instead I got a band that were of a completely different genre. It ruined my night to be honest. I would've gone to a gig with these guys had I wanted to go to this style of gig. Not what i expected and i'm just disappointed more than anything. Regardless of whether they're good or not.
Regardless of whether Megadeth requested the guys play or not, they've secured support slots paying alongside huge bands like Megadeth and Testament and their own headlining tours just this year and also won best new band at the Golden Gods 2013, so clearly they must be doing something right eh? What's wrong with saying, "I may not like this band, so I'll skip their music but I respect them doing what they wanna do"? Typical elitist "true metal" metalhead.
You could probably see where I'm coming from, since there were big rumours going around that it might have been Maiden, or Disturbed. I know that it was Megadeth's choice, but i just don't think it was the right one, since there are a lot of fans who are a lot older than myself, they probably won't be as accepting as my generation. I'll go to the gig and see BFW to check them out, and i'll probably come back and post my opinion, but since i seen conversations already going on, i thought i'd join
People were 'butthurt' because it was a real chance to see some other really fucking amazing bands that were the same style of Megadeth. They're really an entire different genre. The crowds are different, in so many ways. I wish some people would get their heads around that and realize why a lot of us were upset.

Seems like to me, some of you are really immature and can't take criticism. Even if the criticism is "deathcore is shitty," it's still criticism, one referring to black metal as "shit music" and asking "aren't you supposed to be burning churches?" makes you no better than the person commenting "deathcore sucks."
Believe it or not, a band can call upon a band to support for them without them sounding exactly the same, clearly Megadeth thought they'd be a good candidate. Just arrive later if you don't want to see them?

I don't even know.. They may be gaining popularity and all, fair do's but they're not fit for purpose (if you know what I mean) for supporting Megadeth. What I mean to say is, I don't grievously dislike their music so much so that I would say I hate them, but they don't even come close to Megadeth in the way of genre..

This band is very unoriginal. There like an As I Lay Dying copycat but much much crappier and stick the the generic Hardcore format. The guitarist use Bare Knuckle Pickups and don't even take advantage of the versatility they have. They just do the typical Hardcore chugging at random tempos
Yeah don't get me wrong I do see where you're coming from especially when such big bands were rumoured. Personally I prefer when bands take more unheard of bands as support 'cause it gets them more recognition and gets them noticed. I do see where you're coming from though.

In the case of their former albums I'd agree. However this is a relatively good song off of a substantially well made album. It is a shame that your mind is as narrow as the hole in my posteria.
I saw these guys a few years ago at a small, shit festival -not advertised well- called "Gedfest". They managed to get a wall of death when there was only like 15 people in the hall... That was dedication.

On another note, this song leaves me a bit disappointed. Their earlier work was of the best deathcore around, now it's bland as all hell. I'd rather listen to Sarkrista over this any day.
Metal is a Genre that branches out to many Subgenres. However, it's all classified under Metal due to the fact that it all originated from it. Well, that's my opinion at least.
To anyone that is complaining about their style of music this is Scottish metal it sounds different than American and its no that you're used to hearing...and Scott is an amazing screamer.
Was at that gig aswell. It's sad that everyone was dead whilst they were playing their set, but they were playing to the wrong crowd sadly. Plus, their live sound was pretty terrible.

@Matthew Junken Lamb of God is Metalcore because of the cleans in their songs. Metalcore and Deathcore do have a lot in common but Deathcore has no cleans at all.
I really want to like this band as so many magazines like Metal Hammer say they're amazing and so do a lot of people I know but I just can't stand the vocals :/
