This is timeless. I been listening pretty much constantly for nearly a decade now, if we count Humanity, which there is no reason not too then it is a full decade. I can't express with mere English how much I love and appreciate this band. Just brilliant and it truly is beautiful, especially 3:47 onwards. I have every CD and I love how they have mixed up the sound but still retain the same fundamental feeling of the band, Era even sounds like a mix of all the styles they have conveyed. No one like em.

I think metalcore was better back in these days because the recording was so much raw compared to now days everything is so clean including the screams and growls.

Maybe this band will give metalheads the idea to stop picking on those with their own choice on how they want to look, given that this band is metal as fuck AND is fronted by a scene kid. Just because someone cares about their appearance does NOT make them a "faggot". Sure we have death metal bands like Nile, The Black Dahlia Murder and stuff that don't give one care on how their appearance, but not everyone is the same & I believe metal should be a fair community.
I agree with the guy that replied to you. Breakdowns will kill this band and turn them into every other deathcore band. This band OCCASIONALLY has breakdowns, which is how all deathcore should be since there's so many that overuse them. With that said, 90% of breakdowns suck. It's a waste of time to stop the music to chug your fucking guitar.
i like both man though i think the guitars are better in this and the vocals although i found the album full of fillers unlike BMTH. these guys have a new album though and its insane as hell

Ok, how can you say that this band compares to bands like Deicide, Behemoth, Black Dahlia Murder, or any other band of that style. I think it's funny that if you look up videos of any of those bands, you run into related videos from Cryptopsy, Amon Amarth, JFAC, etc. But if you do the same for this band, you get Bullet For My Valentine, Attack Attack!, Breaking Benjamin, etc (by the way, those are either classified as hard rock or metalcore, of which all 3 combined are still pretty shitty).

They're not the deathcore or tech death sound that i used to like.They really sound Metalcore. As i've said yesterday i really like more lows and death growls and wanted more Death metal playing. This band is pretty much atheist. I'm pretty sure he doesn't say "repent." Plus when it's goes to the background vocals at 3:57. He says "I am filled with reason to seek reVENGE." It wouldn't make sense if he said "I am filled with reason to seek rePENT!" I won't lie, I though it was "repent" to but it wouldn't make sense. Plus, the very last time he says "revenge" at 4:24 you can hear him emphasize the "ge" sound at the end of revenge.

Scene is wearing bright colors, listening to whatevers popular in that category, etc. Mitch wasn;t scene, neither is oli sykes, nor the lead singer of this band.
