A bizarre, but excellent performance. But, the strangest thing just might be the zombie-like audience, some of which look too much like extras from a George Romero movie. But, this version did catch the protopunk spirit of some of Marc Bolan's songs and stage theatrics.
I was there, I was a teenager in the 70ies- we had a gas. poor kids today, I could rattle off here 50 greats out of memory ranging from T. Rex to Purple to ELP and so forth. We had an El Dorado for good music, all bands were diffferent, all great bands were sharp, kings of their game. Glad I was there. Rgds from Germany.
