  • Episode 5 - India's region of Punjab or Amritsar- we never heard of it before coming to travel India, but what a place this is! The Sikh religion's "Golden Temple" blew us away, the 'Attari Border Crossing' ceremony was just madness, and the whole state is just such a colorful/ beautiful place to visit.
Watch us travel on the trains once more, then we try our hand at the famous Punjab food stalls and taste all the delicious Indian food.

Travelled many parts of the world, Visited India 4 times and spent 87 days in total but still its unknown to me, Once you visit this land it mesmerizes you. Different cultures, Different food, Many Religions Different Faces, Different Races, skin tones, Different clothes, Different traditions it almost impossible for an outsider to understand this land. Indeed it's Exotic India. Good Vlog

Of course the name makes a difference! It's about respect and tradition..a lot of westeners love to change the names of things because they find it hard to pronounce the real ones! It's just utterly disrespectful and not something I'd want done to me or my home - I'm a white roma gypsy, our culture is misunderstood a lot because people fear what they don't know or understand. I completely feel what this guy is saying, names represent identity.

Toilets at Jama masjid piled up with big shit, bloody sanitary napkins lyinc around. The guy at toilette charge us 10 ruppees for toilette. I told him about toilet and the man had about to beat me. Inside masjid campus remove shoes. Campus full of pigeon shits. They charge for shoe cover, and the cape..

The lowering of the flags ceremony at the Wagah border is a daily military practice that the security forces of India (Border Security Force, BSF) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) have jointly followed since 1959.[1] The drill is characterized by elaborate and rapid dancelike manoeuvres, which have been described as "colourful". It is alternatively a symbol of the two countries’ rivalry, as well as brotherhood and cooperation between the two nations
its not a dance by BSF for your information. its dancelike.

I am absolutely in love with Golden Temple and Sikhism after visiting the place. I am truly amazed as to how the temple treats a full meal to the devotees equally be it a beggar or a billionaire for free 24*7 throughout the year. I am truly in love with the tradition and wants to extend a hand so that we can promote growth in the Eastern part of our country. Hopefully it works as per my plan !!

Bro Sikhs are not greedy they don't want free food. This is called langar I think a type of Prasad. Sikh produces maximum amount of crops than any other community.

Your train hopping video just appeared in my feed out of no where since about a week. I had been putting it off and I regret that I didn't discover you earlier. Just binge watched these 5 episodes. I love you guys. Love the fact that you have understanding with each other, you care about, respect other's opinions and have strong values. You make the best travel videos and the music is bomb!
I was in Amritsar, then went to Dharamshala and Dalhousie a couple months ago. It was a nice trip down the memory lane. Golden Temple does have a peaceful vibe and it's gorgeous.
Looking forward to the next episode. Love!

Wow.. I live in the capital city of Punjab which is Chandigarh .
Well. M visiting Golden Temple in March .
    M so damnnn excited..
I am a hindu but most of my friends are Punjabis and hence are Sikhs . I have read “Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji" (the Holy Book of sikhs) three times in a row and everytime I get awstruck with the thoughts of “The Gurus" (the Gods of Sikhs in Human Form)🙏. I have been to the “Paaths” (prayers that are conducted by Sikhs ) and I have never felt so much calmness and tenderness in my heart before that I felt while sitting and listening to those gracious words of “Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji" (another important Holy Book of Sikhs) I don't know much about Sikhs and Punjabis in typical but one thing's for sure “They are one of the bravest and courageous souls on the planet". Though I belong to Himachal Pradesh(my parents were born in Dalhousie in Himachal ) I am more of a Punjabi because my dad lived and worked for a long time in Amritsar (The city of heavenly Golden Temple) and so I generally speak Punjabi and English with most of my friends. Whenever I visit Himachal Pradesh to meet my cousins and relatives I speak in native Himachli language and Hindi ..
    Thank you for Loving It💖
