They bring up "OC fallacy" because lets say the original charatcer isn't capable of beating one character want him to beat. In this instance that can be Saitama vs Goku. Then *someone* makes a story around the character than mainly focuses on ridiculous power and then say that the character (mostly they don' specify, but) easily beats the other (original) character. This gets people pissed and tried to scold others that they have to make up events for the character to be far stronger than original. And considering that anyone can just make or write something to make the character ridiculously powerful, then i get how it's abit annoying when dealing with the (more deranged side of the) fandom.
This Saitama is strong and all, but it just seems to me to only have the purpose of the creator of the manga to just make Saitama and perhap garou the strongest. Even using powerscaling terms and dimensionality, concepts etc. That makes it abit wierd, but overall it's well made. But pitting him aganst someone and say "Saitama one punches!" is kinda silly, and i'd agree to be OC fallacy.

you know what's crazy? if fan versions are fair game, then so are any official versions of the character, and since he fused with the audience in that one weird 4d japanese event or whatever it was, Goku is, in fact, still stronger.

There is an argument this version can beat Yogiri Takatou from My Instant Death Ability. Basically the dude is a walking conclusion, it's not so much "death" as it is creating one's non-existence. But honestly, in my eyes, Yogiri simply does not exist. Like part of his gimmic is that simply wishing harm upon the dude, regardless of how many multiverses away from him you are, will result in your immediate demise. But this is disproven by the fact we as readers can survive it. As much as the mangaka wants to paint his power as limitless, it is still bound to pencil and paper, and within that pencil and paper, Saitama can simply just say "nuh uh". "But that's not how it works, Saitama should be dead, wah wah wah" "Well too bad. Nuh uh, shut tf up."
