Relicblade minis are the best to paint. Simple but awesome sculpts without all the tedious BS so many companies needlessly add to justify high costs but simply clutter up the mini & make painting a chore and a slog.
I've been wanting to try relicblade, I love fantasy skirmish games like moonstone and burrows and badgers(you should try this one if you haven't! great minis and narrative rules)
Big fan of a pallet cleanse model! Great video. I sometimes brush on varnish, and it's fine, but spray on always ends up more even for me. Also, you have to be pretty deliberate and relatively quick. The second it begins to set, you will know because brushing back over it will smear the paint in that area.
You KNOW I love carrying that Relicblade torch with ya. This is an awesome video both in your clean and simple explanation of the painting process, but your advocacy (pun intended) for Relicblade! Love your work Jarrid. Can’t wait for the next one!!
Relicblade is really good fun...pur games do tend to be a bit lopsided, but thats probably an 'us' issue. Also i love the theme, minis, amd setting so much. Also Sean is just a great person!
@SPACENOMADMALEV they're always a blowout for one side or the other amd almost always come down to a team wipe. Everyone in RB is very squishy and many attacks can hit pretty hard. We've enjoyed the games we've played, but they never feel like either could have won. As I said, it's likely on us to a large extent and and how we play, but we're just not sure what we can do differently.
Nice to see other stuff. So tired of all the WH. Personally im addicted to cyverpunk combat zone, but no one really knows about it and i dont think the team reached out to channels to promote it more. Im liking the look of relic blade. Keep seeing more and more vids
