Also, if it's more than 2.9m wide you would have to apply for permission from every local authority whose roads you wished to use on your journey :-)
i'm curious how the steering geometry works in that, given that the distance between the wheels is so much greater the wheels would have to turn very different angles to turn correctly

When I was in the Middle East, I was told it’s considered rude to get in the back seat from the driver’s side. To get to that seat you have to get in through the passenger side and slide across the seat. You’d have to do quite the butt shuffle to get across this thing…😂

Reminds me of the Artz Golf from the '70s. They took a VW Golf Mk1 body and stretched it over a Porsche 928 chassis. The result was a chunky Golf with a V8 and RWD and unlike the Lamando it was drivable, and fast plus the fit and finish were impeccable.
