FAST Cars Street Race in FREEZING Temperatures (OG Limpy Cash Days)

- 30ºF temps are far from ideal for a Cash Days race and frankly quite rare for a street race in Texas, but that didn't stop 16 racers from competing in a bracket-style street race for $3,500! With low-power tunes mapped in, and Limpy on the tree - we sat back and enjoyed watching these drivers peddle their way to the finish line, leaving behind a cloud of tire smoke in most races!

I think joey should have won that race officially.... If he would've done that at the track he would have NOT red lit. The tire moved rotationally but the vehicle did not. Prove me wrong 🤪....

I love the way Beater Bomb puts it. It’s really not so much about the power plant. It’s how you get it to the ground that really matters lol
I like the humble cockiness. He never tells you the "setup" and never looks happy after a win. I've seen hundreds of his passes over the years and it he treats it like work. Just another day in the office. As an opponent you never know if he just ran his moon tune or if he ran it off dome. Makes it hard to judge what to put in your car. And even if you nail the tune its still a race. Chances are he is going to put whatever power is in it, down.

Joey has that car so dialed in it’s ridiculous. I’m glad he finally let everyone see what’s under the hood because I love the turbo set up.
Slowmod's reaction time is outrageous, he was the tiniest tiniest fraction from that not jumping and he would have won, awesome.
i know it takes time to spin the tires up and he hit go before the light came on but i still find it hard to say he jumped the start when the car hadn't even moved. 😃

You can see at 15:52, there are 2 frames where his back tires are moving before the light comes on the next frame. He jumped definitely with his pedal, but would he may have jumped a staging laser? Who knows…

You guys are right, if that was a staging laser that would have been like an 0.005 reaction or something ludicrous, but the tire moving a tiny fraction before the headlight came on may be their rule in street racing, he had the mustang though, and didn't need to cross the line at 140mph with his skinny front tires in the air to do it (danger zone to the max with that butt-hurt-bar)
Only thing missing with it being an OG style 1320 video is the green lettering right before the launches lol

I’ve been watching 1320 for a very long time. Cash Days is always my favorite videos. I sometimes rewatch them because the streets is the best type of race. Please please please keep the street drag racing videos. The Pad, Cash Days, anything street related.

For people not familiar with street racing. A tire crack is considered a jump. His tire was spinning before the light which means he jumped.
He still has the 4 lug axles on that Capri. That's insane!

He did not jump.
The rear tires were spinning before the light but the fronts were stationary. I suppose it depends on the rules.

@15:18 That's the closest cut I've ever seen! Like .001 too hot. I watched it over and over to try to catch it but YT's FPS isn't fast enough to catch it.
Don't think he jumped. That was a perfect light! Watched it like 20 times and that's my feeling.
@@SkunkShrimp The tire starts spinning like 2 frames before the light comes on, you can see it by going x.25 speed and then you can go frame by frame using the space bar! It's close but he did jump :'(
If he was on a tree it wouldn't have been a red light methinks...
Honest question here. It is obvious that his rear wheel starts spooling 1 frame before the light, however it is not obvious if the actual front wheel moves (I really can't tell). My question here is, does the driver red light when they brake the beam, or when their rear wheel starts to spool?

Did slow mod jump? Love beater and always am on his side but think you lost bud. Limpy makes great calls and I obviously didn’t see the frame by frame but I think he left as the light came on, idk but good races boys
my old eyes see the light come on, then slow mod's rear wheel spins before it moves.
Looks pretty much the same time to me at full speed, but when slowed down to 25% you can see the tyres spinning just before the light
tires spinning wont matter, front had no movement till light
