Were the band members of Rush the only sane ones that actually like each other?

Rush opened for Kiss way back.
Gene was like "Why aren't these guys partying".

@@glenkepic3208 Been to several Rush shows in the mid-70s. They are just happy with who they are and life is a party without the need to party.

The members of Led Zeppelin were tight from beginning to end, regardless of their varying levels of inebriation..... not even a thought of trying to replace John Bonham after he died. When you see Jimmy Page doing interviews decades later, you can easily see him proud yet melancholy for the Zeppelin days.

I saw Rush in concert in 1982 and again in 1996. Both shows were (and still are) the best concerts I'd ever seen.
Even from the audience you could see and feel the friendship and mutual respect they had for each other. Amazing.

Neil is absolutely serious about the music! His muse is his only boss! When the other 3 were just pissing around, Neil left.

I like their music. Was born in the 80s, so I'm unfamiliar with the band's copious drama. Based on this video, and other modes of media, I would posit that David Crosby seems to be the factor that causes the most problems; the most dynamic problems.

Even Neil's father used to tell all that would listen that his son couldn't carry a tune to save his soul. Plus Neil is the constant disruption in any relationship.

All great legendary musicians, my take is that NY is the most talented and somewhat toxic of the four regarding his track record of splitting at any given moment. When you throw tons of cocaine into the mix well you know what happens. The sound they made was ethereal and we all benefited from it.
