Cynthia Bianco There actually is, that giant clock thing you see in at the end of the video is known as a Nova, magic clockstars that can grant wishes, it the same type of clockstar that give Marx his powers in Super Stars, the Novas are also conected with the Star Roads, the wepon that was used in the fight against Nightmare in Kirby's Adventue and both things are created by the Ancients from Halcandra (another dinension) who also created the Master Crown that give Magolor his powers in Kirby's Return to Dreamland. I'm not making this thing up. You can look on google if you want, I am personally surprised that HAL is even putting effort on this.

I feel like that every Kirby game the antagonist uses one of four possible powers for their means to an end. 1. Nightmares 2. Dark Matter 3. Corrupt Art 4. Cosmic Power Nightmare is obvious dark matter is obvious Zero is Dark Matter Marx is Cosmic Power 02 is Dark Matter Nightmare once again is obvious Dark Mind is quite possibly a combination of cosmic (due to the parallel dimension possibility of the mirror) and Dark Matter (mirror version) Drawcia is corrupt art Dark Nebula is Dark Matter Marx is once again Cosmic Power The final boss of Mass Attack is most likely a tech adapted entity of dark matter Yin Yarn is corrupt art Magolor is a combination of both Cosmic power (the dragon crown) and dark matter (due to the purple, starred nature of his attacks) Dark Crafter is corrupt art Queen Sectonia is Cosmic Power and lastly Star Dream could possibly be a further technologically augmented entity of dark matter because of its affinity to portals and orb structures.
To correct you on some details, Necrodeus (the final boss from mass attack), Magolor, and Star Dream have nothing to do with dark matter. Necrodeus looks dark and stuff but that's just because he's a god of death. Magolor, although tricking Kirby at the time, acts rather normally compared to anything possessed by Dark Matter before putting on the crown. Landia wears the same crown without having any hint of Dark Matter, so it's clear that it's not involved. Magolor's appearence, while similar to Dark Matter, can't alone indicate such. Star Dream flat out has no relation to Dark Matter in any way. It's actually powered by a Nova, which is the same force that gave Marx his power. Everything else is a good observation though. Makes me wonder if the antagonist in the switch game will fall into similar categories or be something completely different.
Hats off to Drawcia Soul, the very first of the Soul bosses - in a spin-off title at that! They loved the concept so much it's been in every main game since.

Can we just all agree that out of all of the backstory's and lore for these bosses, Star Dream/Haltmann had the most tragic and depressing moment in all of Kirby history? Just a random comment but looking back at these bosses, Haltmann's mind still haunts me for what his plans were.

What's with the eyes man? In 11:59, you shoot love arrows at a huge eyeball (bottom left) with awesome music btw, in 13:55, you shoot crystal shards at an evil angel EYE, at 6:35, you slash a flower eye with a sword, at 22:01, you slash a demon fire EYE with the master sword, at 34:00, you slash another EYE belonging to the dark nebula, and there's like a billion more eye bosses that poor Kirby has to face!
Zero Two will always be my favorite. I was a wee child, so proud of myself for getting all the crystal shards and getting to that final boss...and then got scared shitless by him. Didn't beat that game until many years later.
I love the serial escalation of quality with final bosses in the proper platforming Kirby games. Magolor was cool, Sectonia was better, and Star Dream is quite possibly one of the best final bosses in gaming history.

So basically an Evolution of Secret Bosses/True Arena Final Bosses in Kirby Games. Starting with Marx Soul from Super Star Ultra (I Think)

I feel like that every Kirby game the antagonist uses one of four possible powers for their means to an end.
1. Nightmares
2. Dark Matter

4. Cosmic Power

02 is Dark Matter
Nightmare once again is obvious
Dark Mind is quite possibly a combination of cosmic (due to the parallel dimension possibility of the mirror) and Dark Matter (mirror version)

The final boss of Mass Attack is most likely a tech adapted entity of dark matter
Yin Yarn is corrupt art
Magolor is a combination of both Cosmic power (the dragon crown) and dark matter (due to the purple, starred nature of his attacks)
Dark Crafter is corrupt art
Queen Sectonia is Cosmic Power
and lastly Star Dream could possibly be a further technologically augmented entity of dark matter because of its affinity to portals and orb structures.
Plus Star Dream slightly resembles 02, and have you seen Star Dream's concept art?
To correct you on some details, Necrodeus (the final boss from mass attack), Magolor, and Star Dream have nothing to do with dark matter.
Necrodeus looks dark and stuff but that's just because he's a god of death.
Magolor, although tricking Kirby at the time, acts rather normally compared to anything possessed by Dark Matter before putting on the crown. Landia wears the same crown without having any hint of Dark Matter, so it's clear that it's not involved. Magolor's appearence, while similar to Dark Matter, can't alone indicate such.
Star Dream flat out has no relation to Dark Matter in any way. It's actually powered by a Nova, which is the same force that gave Marx his power.
Everything else is a good observation though. Makes me wonder if the antagonist in the switch game will fall into similar categories or be something completely different.

For the Wii, try to find Return to Dreamland. It is considered among the best games in the series.

It took 1 game for kirby's final boss formula to start to stick. A perfectly cute game, and then a whole lot more sinister and creepy for one fight.
You also gotta love how every Kirby boss loves to drag the fight out by teleporting all over the frickin place so you can't hit them.

Zero Two will always be my favorite. I was a wee child, so proud of myself for getting all the crystal shards and getting to that final boss...and then got scared shitless by him. Didn't beat that game until many years later.

I love the serial escalation of quality with final bosses in the proper platforming Kirby games. Magolor was cool, Sectonia was better, and Star Dream is quite possibly one of the best final bosses in gaming history.
Kirby goes from saving thebplanet from hunger to saving the universe from destruction.

came back to this franchise that I love so much and well realise that it's not praised enough and not that popular for its bosses music stages and it is underrated this needs more attention. edit: I came back here with the new release of the switch and if kirby gets a new game while browsing I saw this
