This shows that the watch can repoeat the values you entered in the calibration. I would like to see a measurement after that showing a high blood pressure, for exemple in a heavy exercise and see if it is measuring correcty
dude the values come up totally different when you start working out or after you sleep. The monitor is just needed for calibration so that it can show the most accurate result than any other smartwatch on the market
If your blood pressure rises with exercise you have a problem plus all this is doing is confirming that the measurement taken by the watch is valid when compared to a proper BP monitor.
It's a good idea to mention the version of software, and your location. I'm sure it's limited features in different countries. I"m in U.S. We don't seem to have these features...
Great video sir One question is BP measurent n ECG measurement is available only on Demand. Does any software upsare coming up from samsung so that it can be automatically measured say once in every hour. If this comes it can b awsome n certainly v can prevent heart problems
ECG always has to be on demand with these devices because you need to touch the metal ring with the opposite hand during the measurement for it to create an electrical circuit crossing through the heart. In order to make it automatic there would have to be a cable going to the other side of your body. BP could technically be measured at any point but for the reading to be accurate you have to sit and be still. Measuring while moving will not give you an accurate representation of your BP.
Hi Thanks for video. Love my Samsung classic 4 watch. I did an initial calibration, all went well. Instructions say you have to RE calibrate every 28 days BUT, i cannot find anyway to start the re-calibration. Please can you help me to find the way to re restart the calibration process??

It depends where in the world you are. Samsung say that the watch has all these features to use but they don't say where and when it will be available. I'm from the UK and have it but some people from other countries say they do not have the ECG and the blood pressure option and can't find the Health Monitor app, which usually means it has not been approved by that country. There is a video on youtube where you can have both options I live in nepal where neither ecg nor bp is availble but on my GW4 Classic i have both of them
So basically it is just taking an average reading of the information you have already entered. This is dangerous premise because your health / lifestyle could of changed, deteriorated over time. You then use the watch in future and it will give you a reading between 126 - 129 when you could actually in fact be closer to 140. This blood pressure fucntion does not actually work. If it did it would be giving you an avergae reading from being on your arm itself. I still think the the rest of the features are good though.

Should calibrate for each of you. I've thought about getting the Omron BPM watch but it's $500. One thing I did notice though, with the Omron watch, you have to place the watch above your heart for an accurate reading, just like the cuff that goes around your arm. I'm wondering if all the inaccurate readings ppl are getting from other watches and sometimes this Samsung is because the watch needs to be placed above the heart for the accurate measurement.
I brought this watch specifically for the bp monitor due to health readings and ice been very disappointed. It only works on the odd occasion. Most times I get to 98% then get the message weak signal. I've followed all the instructions but it makes no difference. What good is it of it only works on the odd occasion. I think other people have had this problem too. Samsung need to fix this asap
i wanted to get it for same reasons as you but now upon doing more research i realised it is not as precise (this is why there is description not to change medication according to the readings on watch), it will never be as acurate, and if you have big blood pressure oscilations this is not right tool for measuring. The most precise blood pressure tool is old style one which you manually pump and got manometer (with that liquid inside).
There are ways of side loading it, but it might invalidate your warranty. Samsung shouldn't advertise some of the features without saying it won't be available in some countries. So now people will think that all features are available straight away. Thanks for watching

This feature is only available in select markets. It's not available in the US because it has not passed FDA regulations. Check which market you are in.
How is this smartwatch able to produce your BP numbers in the future, say the next day without the BP monitor? You have a normal blood pressure, I wonder how it will perform for someone who has high pressure around 140/95. As this is where most smartwatches that claim BP monitoring fall apart. I really want these companies to succeed, but I do not think we are there yet.

test is flawed because you ended up having the cuff on your right arm and watch on the left. Liked the video, but bp, ecg and o2 readings from a watch are merely an indicator at best. If you have a medical condition that relies on accurate readings I would stick with approved devices. Most probably be a decade or so before this watch technology becomes a reality. I speak from a position of someone who has type 2 diabetes and coronary heart disease and NO I am not fat or maintain an unhealthy lifestyle for those trolls who may ask.

After the 28 days you will not be able to use it unless you recalibrate

its not available everywhere. i believe india got an update last week to be able to use it. the app was already on my phone as i live in Europe.

What cuff do you recommend for the watch?
I kept the original on my watch 4. But on my watch 4 classic I have a few that I change to like silicone, leather and stainless steel.

Why is your bp high?
When taking it on the watch you have to be absolutely still and quiet otherwise the reading is high
You are supposed to do the reference measurement on the same arm as your watch
It clearly says you have to use it in the opposite arm on the calibration screen.
