I’m really excited to see the finished tour of your yacht and the first sail under its own power.

What purpose does that 'hump' of concrete serve other than to make it more difficult to put the boat in the water?

That is a good question, i asked that as well. Government regulations required it for flood purposes.

Did you do an episode about why you chose such an big boat as your first yacht? My budget maxes out around the 66ft but I found 52ft to be a much more practical size.

Thank you for the comment. I did not do an episode about that, but it is an interesting topic. We really were offered a great opportunity here. We started out with a 77, and then ended up with an 88.

@@sketchtosea3750 Isn't Crazy Love fully crewed? I say if you are lucky enough to be able to afford an 88 footer...get an 88 footer...and know there are many who can only dream about that.

@@SRM_NZ Thank you for the comment. It is fully crewed, but I really enjoy sailing.

@@sketchtosea3750If you ever decide to sail to New Zealand....firstly...it's probably best to come December through March...it's the best weather...as there have been far too many YT sailors who have some here in winter and complain at how wet and cold it is....I think the Wynn's (HH4403) are the only ones who took the time to show NZ for how beautiful it is. If you do make it to NZ, It would be great to get a heads up...I'd love to see Crazy Love in the 'flesh' so-to-speak......Even if it is from afar....I have clients who have cliff top properties that over look Auckland Harbour....
Thanks to people like yourself, the Wynns and other Catamaran YT sailors I have been able to gain an appreciation for sailing I never had....I grew up in a mono-hull family and never really enjoyed the cramped quarters....I have a lifelong love for all things 'boats'...I don't have the time for full size....however that's not to say I'm absent from boats all together......
