- This is your exclusive first look inside HH Catamarans' superyacht HH8801. As the yacht isn't complete yet, this is the real insider's sneak peek at the expert craftsmanship and finishes offered by HH yachts. I'm excited to share this with all of you that have been following along on our journey and welcome to those who are just finding us. This is something pretty special so watch and enjoy!
The boat is mind blowing, incredibly beautiful. The wood work, all of it is so incredible.
Thank you for the comment.
Agreed: The boat is just gorgeous. I love the granite/marble. It reminds of the sand and surf.
I am blown away helm. I would imagine you will have a captain and their crew navigating this beautiful vessel.
Incredible !
Thank you!
Stunning
Speechless
I appreciate that the crew areas have the same finishes as the rest of the boat, and it looks stunning. Really sets your boat apart from most others out there. Congrats!
Thank you for the comment. Thank you for noticing, it was intentional to make the crew spaces as generous and comfortable as possible.
its really just veneer on the walls though? no natural ventilation in the captains cabin and the crew bunks in the forepeaks would need very very skinny people sleeping in them after the matrasses are in?
Does stove need rails to keep stuff sliding off in seas? Other cabinets?
Uh, bud, you do realize these boats never leave the Mecca hot spots right? They do not actually go anywhere other than on delivery. @@benlund3905
@@pred7949I know, right? It's beautiful but it's not practical and it certainly won't be comfortable. Can you imagine having to slide yourself in and out of bed? There's not even room to sit up when you get to the end of the bunk so I guess you just belly in? Ridiculous. That was not the only option- and I would take better care of my crew than that, I'm sure they would rather have comfortable beds instead of $30,000 walls. Maybe that's just me?
So well thought out. Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
How exquisite and beautiful 🤩 ❤
This is a spaceship that was converted into a sailboat. Truly stunning in every sense, well done everyone involved, this is something to be proud of.
Thank you for the comment. Lots of people did work hard on this for years.
Man, your boat is a dream
Thank you for the comment.

Thank you for the comment.
She is absolutely stunning! Wow! Crazy Love is crazy beautiful! 😍 I cannot wait to see her on the move. Bravo! ❤
Thank you for the comment, we are looking forward to getting out on the water!
I would like to see you do a video that shows the details in the engine room and the other mechanical components. It is nice seeing these from the perspective of the owner.
That sounds great, look for it in the next few weeks.
Beautiful Yacht! Awesome job.
Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic boat, the woodwork is superb.
Many thanks!
I absolutely agree. The woodwork makes so much difference. It is stunning and makes the yacht look interior look so inviting, luxurious and unmistakeable nautical. No mistaking this interior for something you would see in a luxury condo.
When you opened the door to the Solon at the beginning, I involuntarily said “OMG!” I believe that is the most stunning and beautifully appointed interior I have ever seen in anything that moves. Just WOW
Wow, thank you for the compliment.
Boat is so awesome thank you for sharing I have also subscribed
Thanks and welcome
😳😍🥰 Absolutely incredible!
Thank you! Cheers!
What an amazing boat. You have a masterpiece that not only looks good, but should perform well under sail. Your hard work and planning is really showing up!!
Thank you for the comment. We will be sharing some of the sea trial footage in the next few weeks.
I just watched the Winn's ride with you on your new boat. Great boat, technology, and videos.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful just beautiful congrats
Thank you! 😊
Damn fine craftsmanship and an awesome layout, cruise the world in comfort
Thank you for the comment.

That marble is exquisite. Awesome design sir.
Thank you! Cheers!
Sean, Your fantastic vision has come to fruition. Congratulations. Beautifully done HH.
A “Super” yacht.
Many thanks!
Wow Sean!! Just showed this video to Elliot (He is visiting from NYC) He loved it as much as we did!! So impressed by the attention to all the details. Just LOVE it!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Glad to see you got some room for my impending visit 😊
Amazing!!!
The crew space is well though out and im glad to see its a Sailing cat, power of wind. And seeing solar panel seems like a Energy efficient vessel.
It performs very well, and we tried to be as efficient as possible regarding energy production and consumption.
This is my second viewing of this episode. I wanted to see your majestic HH again. Job well done. 👍 I also appreciate that you’re a true yachtsman and use the proper terminology. First class.
Thanks again!
Sean, she's beautiful! We are so excited for you and J to finally see this project in the water! Amazing!
Thank you Laura!
Congratulations - she’s a masterpiece!
Thank you, Cheers.
wow the yard in Xiamen has done a phenomenal job!
Thank you, check out this video for more into the yard: th-cam.com/video/QPmkLufrvqc/w-d-xo.html
🎉😮😊thats not a boat its a dream.....love it...
Thank you!
This is the Roll Royce of boat!
Thank you for the comment. That is a fair description as well.
Love the Wiley Sharp style panos. HH8801 interior looking epic as expected. 👍
Agreed!
Absolutely Stunning!
Thank you! Cheers!
Absolutely stoning! Congratulations!
Thank you for the comment!
Awesome boat, Sean. I really like the flybridge cockpit. Looks like a place where serious work is done, combined with a serious dose of fun.
Many thanks!
Wow.❤
Thank you for the comment.
What a magnificent boat! Congratulations to you and the teams you have done an incredible job!
Thank you very much!
Amazing boat. Well worth the wait.
It really is!
The craftsmanship is amazing! Not exactly my style design- and material-wise, but HH can be expecting my order as soon as I win the lottery. I'd probably go for the 77 without flybridge.
Sounds good, thank you for understanding that interior choices are personal. Please email me if you want to discuss that further!
Absolutely astonishing. I realy like that room layout. 👏👏👏
Thank you very much!
Very nice boat !!! Well done !!!
Thank you very much!
Absolutely breathtaking!!! Congratulations
Thank you! Cheers!
Incredible carbon yacht with amazing finishing and detail work. Looking forward to see her sail! ⛵
Thank you, we are looking forward to sea trials over the next week or 2.
Nice video of a well-thought-out yacht. Historically, I've never been much of a catamaran or sail fan, but, lately, I have been much more enthusiastic due to videos like this. I'm looking forward to one of you sailing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful yacht, excellent construction.
We agree!
she is looking beautiful!
Thank you for the comment.
Congratulations, Sean! Wow, so fun to see your boat ideas coming to fruition. The boat looks beautiful! Maybe we will actually see you somewhere out here. All the best from Frank and me.
Thanks for the comment guys, we would love that!
The veneers on this boat are amazing, and hats off to the workmen who installed it. It takes great skill to build a boat such as this.
The kitchen on this boat is amazing, it puts my kitchen to shame. When people come back from a holiday, one of the first things they talk about, or at least so with my family, is just how good or bad the food was.
So food is important, especially if you want good reviews after a charter. Any good chef would be thrilled to work in this kitchen.
We agree, I spent 7 years in culinary school only to learn that is not what i wanted to do. That being said, I also cook most of the meals onboard. For a boat kitchen, it is unbelievably functional.
@@sketchtosea3750 in my family we have a saying, food is love. Funny my wife’s family has the same saying as well. While my family is about as WASP as it can get. Being from Manitoba and are also United Christian as well.
My wife’s family though is as opposite as you can get. Her family is of East Indian background, and emigrated to Canada from Guyana when my wife was 10. Her family is primarily Muslim.
Both families though come from strong rural roots. Often, when asked why I marry someone so different, I tell them that until I met my wife, I had never met a woman who had the same family values as mine did. For some reason, most don’t understand what I mean by that. I find that kind of sad.
One of the best things that came from me marrying a woman with Indian roots, other than my kids looking good in any colour they want, is spices. Sure, I like a good pot roast, but I’ve learned that there are other spices other than salt and pepper.
Not only that, but my family never realized you could use those other spices in such large quantities. We joke about it now. Now when my side of the family comes over, they want my goat curry, and I don’t go light with the Gara masala either. Food has flavour? A very un-British idea if you ask me. Lol
incredibly beautiful
Thank you for the comment.
Love the fly bridge outdoor table, resin and wood looks amazing on that one.
Thank you for the comment.
This boat is insane. Congratulations.
Thank you for the comment
Wow, beautiful, can’t wait to hear some statistics and hopefully see some details regarding standing rigging etc.
We have posted some of the specs for the entertainments system in the interview with our captain video.
Magnificient!
Thank you for the comment
wow!
Thank you for the comment!
WoW ! Congratulations on your new catamaran! Your exceptional taste truly shines through. I'm especially impressed by its performance aspects. Wishing you many thrilling adventures ahead! I hope to see you on the ocean
Awesome, thank you!
Absolutely striking
Thank you for the comment.
Enjoy your new splendid ship
Thank you for the comment. Looking forward to actually sailing.
Absolutely Stunning… probably the most beautiful cat I’ve seen in years. Love all the wood/epoxy tables. Great Job !! If you need a captain or even crew to assist with a major crossing.
Thank you, noted.
Looks like something ill never afford but still cool one the less.
Thank you for the comment.
Cats are not my thing but this is stunning, some people are going to have some amazing time on this
Thank you for the comment.
Very nice Cat. Congrats to that.
Thanks!
Cabinetry, particular the natural patterns on the centers of the doors, is extremely impressive. I wonder what will be installed to keep sea air out of the deckhouse top where the lines run into the cabin. Impressed that a lot of heavy items are toward the stern including the jacuzzi, but I am sure the boat is balanced. Nice tour. Bravo!
Thank you for the comment. We have a plan for the area in the fly to control air flow. And yes, there are a few heavy items aft, that is also where there is a lot more hull displacement, and it will sit trim once we are ready for sea trials.
Wow
Absolutely beautiful! I wonder what you will name her? I was thinking "It's a Dream"! Congratulations and joyful and safe sailing!
Thank you for the comment, please check out this video: th-cam.com/video/RQykz5up4F4/w-d-xo.html
I appreciate that you’re taking the time to show such a stunning masterpiece. Will you be showing it again after you take possession of it and all the finishing touches have been completed? I would love to see videos of her actually being sailed as well.
Yes, we will be showing it again after acceptance, and once we have received our container of goods.
Very nice
Thanks
wow
Thank you for the comment.
Right On
Stunning, congrats! I really love all of the epoxy tables, my only question watching the video is if there will be a fog machine and disco ball for all the amazing parties that this boat will host over your world travels?
Also what did you do for a sound system, would be cool to see that specs on that because I'm sure it's gonna rock!
Good question! We posted some of those specs in the interview with our captain. Sketch To Sea: Interview with David Flood.th-cam.com/video/3P7FXm9GmYY/w-d-xo.html
This may be the most beautiful cat interior I have ever seen. Luxury, glamour, function: everything!
Wow, thank you!
Every boat is a compromis ofcourse and I like the idea of a protected helm on the fly, yet really wonder how youre going to see the sailshape from that position.
That is a good question, there are 6 giant skylights built in from port to starboard approximately 2ft by 4 ft 2 rows deep specifically for that purpose.
When it’s time for a new best friend please send me an application please. I’m sure I’d be very good at laughing at all your jokes and making you feel a little bit cooler then you already are. I also would never leave you hanging when the mandatory high five was ordered by you to celebrate our daily dumb or ridiculous thing we barely pull off to escape certain disaster. Cheers guys to your engineering masterpiece.
Great comment, thank you for watching!
Stunning woodwork, wow a big boat!!! Good luck, how many crew?
We are outfitted for 4 crew.
Sick
Thank you for the comment.
is that brazilian cherrywood? great looking wood is the absolute right choice well done BRAVO!!!! I love it.
Would have loved to see the engine room
Thank you for the comment. Look for it in an upcoming video.
love the colors you've chosen and especially the table tops. Can you comment on them? Very unique.
What would you like to know specifically about them?
Great boat. Question on the finishes how durable are they and how easy is it to repair? Looks so good when are you on the water and is there going to be footage of the sea trials?
Thank you for the comment. I just arrived back for sea trials. I hope to have some footage out about them in the next few weeks. As far as materials, they are very durable and repairable. There is a fair bit of varnish on them, and any scratches should just be a "top coat" issue.
Wow!
Thank you for the comment.
😍
Congrats,
I've been watching you put this thing together for a while now. Can't wait to see how it performs under sail in 20 knots true.
It's ALL there, for sure. You said carbon fiber sinks, therefore I'm guessing the counter tops and wall hangings are epoxy resin and all the woodwork is lightweight construction under veneer to keep the weight down as well? How is the balance around the mast? It looks as if you did pay some close attention to this very important detail as most boat builders don't. but if you want it to have any performance under sail at all you really do need to keep the weight focused about the mast. Especially while loading the vessel for passages. Love the way you set up the helm fly bridge enclosure. You are going to be patting yourself on the back every time you run into foul weather AND on those super hot sunny days at the helm. Full solar on the topside wherever possible I'm guessing as well? Well done. Can't wait for sea trials!
Thank you for the comment. The enclosed fly gives people mixed feelings. Personally we really like it, but some others have said that you loose the feeling of the wind. If you open up the fly patio door, and the rest of the windows it still feels pretty much like outside again.
@@sketchtosea3750 I think they make total sense, but only once you get to a certain length. I believe you have found that minimal length to pull it off without making the boat look, well, a bit odd. I want to see someone build a 120' or even a 160' you know? Like a real panamax cat!
Just amazing. Congratulations! I just had 3 pure curiosity questions. I apologize if previously answered.
What is the max you could sleep?
How many people does it take to sail?
Finally, if you chartered this what size crew would you expect?
Thank you
Thank you for the questions. 1) 10 guests, 4 crew, daily events 75 people. 2) Technically, 1 person, but to have an enjoyable experience 3. 3) for charter we would have a full crew of 4: captain, deckhand, chef, stew.
that is a beautiful Yacht. I love the color and the wood work is really really nice. is this a personal family boat or for charter?
Thank you for the comment. It is our future home. Please check out some of the other videos in our series it explains all of this. The yacht will be available for charter 12 weeks a year.
Awesome boat... Love the red... I want one! You mentioned jetskis on top of the davit lift? how will you be putting them in and out of the water? I didn't see any crane?
Good question, there is a hydraulic crane built in to the sole of the flybridge that launches and retrieves the jet ski independent of the tender being in place.
@@sketchtosea3750 Just saw your technical tour video.... boy is that crane ingenious! I love how technology keeps advancing!!
On the bridge, is there a drop down cover for the lines pass thru? Seems like bad weather, Arctic 🥶 cold, rain forest heat, or monsoon rain may spoil the Captain's day.
Thank you for the question. Yes there is a way to prevent weather from entering the interior of the fly, it was not installed at the time this video was filmed.
Engine room would have been nice but maybe later. Nice tour.
Thank you for the comment, look forward to that in the next few weeks.
I hope there is at least 4 crew for that boat in order t5o keep it clean. She is a beautiful work of art.
There are 4 permanent crew.
All I can say, s WOW!
No engine room?
I wonder what the price of such a huge beauty will be - a double hand full of millions.
Thank you for the comment, look forward to this weeks video.
This is the most beautiful woodwork I've ever seen on a boat. Could you possibly share the type of wood used? I'm sure I couldn't afford it, but I'm curious as an amateur woodworker!
It is crotched mahogany, and then the clear panels are quarter sawn mahogany.
@@sketchtosea3750 Thanks!
The Outdoor table on flybridge: Is epoxy. It MUST have a cover made otherwise will turn Yellow in UV rays VERY quickly. Needs to be on list ASAP or better yet, change out the countertop to something UV tolerant like Stone.
Otherwise VERY impressive finish in and out. That Salon ceiling and forward art is amazing.
There are covers, and we also post cured the tables and "destroyed" them in the process. We have completely refinished and sanded them down again. Completely acknowledge that they are not "fit for use" for the exterior, but it is a known maintenance and protection issue.
You’re inclusion of beautiful woodwork won me over right off the bat. The fine wood and master carpentry have forever been a hallmark of great sailing vessels. It speaks volumes of the skills and care and durable materials that were necessary to safely venture out to sea. For me, it is a necessary part of the experience. Too many yachts these days look like any old Miami condo on the inside. No character at all. This yacht is not one of those.
Wow, thank you!
What an amazing boat man , it is so impressive . It’s like a apartment. More than a apartment. Ijust imagine anchored in bahamas or in Fiji in front of mountains . Wow . I wonder what is the price of this beauty ? Is it carbon fibre hull or fibreglass ?? Please let me know . I am curious .
Can't disclose the price, but we are 100% carbon
A lot of work left to do 😮.. might sail in 2024😅
Sea trials are next week.
I lost count of how many times I said, " Wow."
Thank you for the comment!
With all those lines coming into the helm station from the front middle, what about water ingress? Lovely Cat Buddy 👏
Thank you for the comment. It is a relatively steep incline. We also have brushes that are being mounted to a removable board to go on top of that area for a few other reasons. Good question though!
Thank you for the comment.
Just a wee query...
Where the lines come through to the winches, what's stopping water getting blown through and into helm area?...it's looking like it could easily be a very draughty area...and also dragging wet halyards back inside might get a bit damp... woodworking is of an excellent standard...nice boat...👍
Thank you for your question. Please watch this video:th-cam.com/video/JBhSV5qcYgE/w-d-xo.html
There is a board at the base of the "tunnel" where are the lines come through. In addition to the slope of the station at the base, there are also brushes to stop wind and water from entering the fly.
