Hey there! I’m glad to have you here watching the videos! I am glad you are inspired. Thank you for the kind words. I look forward to seeing you around my friend!
Really appreciate your page and help videos. I’m old, but still novice to the woodworking.. just something I’ve always loved doing but have never gotten very good at. So really appreciate the help
I have had a wood burner for years. Put away in my collection, and now I'm ready to use it. This has really helped me to bring it out and get to using it. Thankfully for your video this has really helped me to learn some steps to take.
Great video, I've been carving and burning for about a year. I never even thought to see if it was an actual technique. Lol You're an inspiration, sir keep up the good work.
You do an awesome job of explaining in detail how to power wood carve even for us beginners! I have never done this before and I am hooked! Thank you for the tutorial. I look forward to more!
I subbed, cause the first time I got in2 rotary tool projects I looked it up on "how to" and ur vid popped up so now I'm in2 this, I just bought a wood burner and I wanted to no how 2 do both... so thanx for the help and explaining and showing me on how 2 do this...
you should do a wood carving of your shield logo and hang it on your wall. Make an entire video or two on the process and upload it. I think that could be one of your greatest projects if you did that :D
Hey bud, your work has inspired me to try my hand with doing work on my first tomahawk. I was curious to see if you would be interested in doing a demonstration video on how you utilize different staining techniques for the handle of tomawhawks, as well as how you did your acid-etching technique on the neuron-tomahawk. Keep up the strong work, and thank you for your in-depth DIY video tutorials!
Hey Cornelius, great tip. But you should show us with the cheap wood burner did you can get else were. Maybe from hobby lobby or something like that. With a daily on it. Cause, I have one of those for now??. Thanks again for your videos and channel I've learned alot from you..
Nice lesson, even though you were pushing because of time, I caught what you were seeing and how you adjusted for your eye. I appreciate these videos. If you could, could you tell me,as a beginner-mid wood burner, what burner and tips you would recommend for mostly script and sign work? Thanks brother, nice job all around.
Absolutely magnificent. You have a real gift, man. Your tutorials are clear, detailed but not overly complicated, and extremely easy to follow. I have been a teacher my whole life, and I can honestly say that you are a master teacher of your craft. Thanks for all you do. - Josh (@Olsluggy @dontstopnowproductions @knifetoolgadget @zn_artdesign)
Have you ever used a ball burnishing pyrography tip? They actually have these tips that are. the same size as the fluted round ball bits. I use them often to enhance my wood carvings. The ball burnishing tip can also be used for shading by increasing you r temperature settings or slowing down your strokes. The tip is available in different sizes that will match your round ball burrs. Not trying to diminish your video, but if you're like me I like to know about anything that will improve or speed up my artwork. I thought this would help you as well as your viewers.
I appreciate the great tip man! I have some round tips but tend to use them in different situations. Since this video, I have reshaped my technique for doing this.
Very interesting Matt. Starting to burn and carve at the same time. This was helpful. Know this is a little late, but I have a request. I outlined a Triquetra and a Valknut onto a pickup tool box I'm making. I carved out the Triquetra but not the Valknut. What I'd like to do is carve out the outline to bring out some depth. How do I go about doing that?
I am using the tradition sharp skew pen in this video. I recommend the 1) Skew Pen 2) BPH Pen (I use this one almost for everyone I do now) 3) A Spoon shader 4) A ballpoint.
Thanks for the tutorial. Can these techniques be used on very hard woods like Teak? If so which Dremel tool should I purchase. Can I find the wood burner at Home Depot or Lowes?
Hey Rodney! Glad you liked it! Yes they can be. I recommend the Dremel 3000 series or better. The RazerTip Woodburner can be purchased at the link in the description. If you want a cheaper option the Walnut Hollow Woodburners are usually available at any craft store or Amazon.
i found a little cheeper on e bay two pens single plug for the pens and ten 10 tips for about 70.00dollars does just as good as the more expensive but it come frpom china and has digital read out and two ways to turn it off hope this helps and the box is red
That is a cheap knock-off of the RZ mask. Right now i don’t have just a ton of dust to control so I’m using a small handvac. When I get into my bigger shop I will have a built in dust collecter for sure though

The one in my description or a Razertip. I promise you won't have any buyers remorse.
@@CorneliusCreations Respect...thanks bro!!!!
Great tutorial 👍👍. Does the same principle apply to animal carvings as well... outline the edges an shade with the grain of the wood?? Thanks!!
I haven't done ANY animal carving but I have seen it done in some instruction dvd's before.

I d like to see how you would make a oak cutting board with old English fonts now keep in mind I'm using a cordless dremel

Carve the outline and on the edges carve it at a 45 to make the design pop.
@@CorneliusCreations thanks Matt!
Which razertip pen are you using in this video? Also what three or four pens do you recommend?
I am using the tradition sharp skew pen in this video. I recommend the 1) Skew Pen 2) BPH Pen (I use this one almost for everyone I do now) 3) A Spoon shader 4) A ballpoint.
Thanks Bro for the info
I know you like working with basswood but is that the only wood I can use? I know not to use 2x4 type wood but what about other pretty wood?
Oh no you can work with any type really! I just recommend starting with softer woods. What you can get your hands on works the best!
Show us how to take ur time to get the detail in lettering, square edges an such. What are the best types of woods to carve on.
познавательно!мне пригодится.
Would like to see something on how to fix mistakes....I’ve made a few starting out here :)
Great idea!
Love the video's
Thank you Jason! I have another release tonight!

It is a cheap knock-off of the RZ mask. You can find them on amazon
Cornelius Creations Weaponry .... My brother do you know the actual name brand? Thank you very much
No problem man. I believe the name of it is "Rockbros" I recently searched for them but I believe they quit making them from that company.
Cornelius Creations Weaponry ... Thank you anyway my brother. Take care
Great info Matt, I need one of those types of woodburners , will you buy me one, lol.
Lol. Go to hobby lobby and get the new walnut hollow on sale. You can get it for around $60. This is excellent value for what you get
@@CorneliusCreations , ive got a walnut hollow, but I got it a few years back, doesn't have those type of tips.
Can you add colors
what type of face mask is that? and how do you control the dust while power carving inside?
