Cornelius Creations Where did you find your Duragrit burrs? I went to their website and I didn’t see a nailhead burr. Also, what grit burr do you use? I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing the awesome art you make!
I am a stroke survivor that used to be a woodworker and I am looking for creative projects that I can do one-handed. I am so glad that I found your channel! Thank you!
Good for you 👍🏻 I'm looking for the same. I was a gas and electric engineer in the UK. Lost my job after having an ICD (large pacemaker) fitted. It ended up sitting just under my collarbone, so I've lost a lot of use of my left arm. Lots of luck for the future, and enjoy your carving. Steven.
I like that you show when things aren't working. Then you keep at it, until it does. I understand that! Some paintings I do, are literally many paintings. Until I get it right. Good job, looks great!
Wow this is awesome! I kinda stopped wood burning boxes a little bit ago, started a little more making, woodworking. But this brings me back to why I loved burning so much. The carving gives it that extra layer that just works! Great job, I may be bringing out the ole wood burning kit. I’ll be combing thru your channel. Thanks for posting. All the best.
Really appreciate your time and insight, I’m starting to get back into wood work and you have not only motivated me to do so but have given me great knowledge of the art of wood carvings! Thanks again!!
Ahh, thank you for the compliment bro, but the secret is in the discipline my friend. Start slow, put it on paper and draw it over and over. Then go to the wood to carve it. You would be so surprised at what would happen! Hope this helps my friend!
enjoy your videos. I do have a problem identifying the tools used. I have not been able to get a smooth line yet so I need to keep practicing . Wish you had more simple projects that I can practice.
Awesome job! It would be Nice to have a website to download a traceable template. I would even pay a fee to have this option! Thanks for sharing your quality work!
Well, I've got the Dremel, but none of the other tools, and I need the box as well. Fortunately, there are two Michael's within driving distance. What one doesn't have at any given moment, the other usually does, or there's the online option. That may be better, as my chances are greatly reduced of also buying more yarn that I'll never get around to crocheting into something. If I go into Michaels, I'm coming out with the yarn. To the point, though, I love your work and I'm inspired. I haven't used my new Dremel for anything yet, and it really wants to come out of it's case. I hear it calling me.
I would absolutely love to see you carve a mjolnir totem, I love norse mythology and this piece was really inspiring for me dude, Thanks for the content!
How nice that turned out! Just a tip to make the highlighing easier and more precise: rip off a bit of a kitchen cleaning foam, dip it in the paint ad go for it. You can adjust the size like you want and even hold it with a tweezer. By using/mixing different shades and layering them you could also let parts look like stone which could create a nice effect contrasting the wood.
Awesome , great techniques . I'm got me a Dremel and just starting out for the first time . Little nervous , but trying on scraps first . I'm really enjoying your videos , their very clear and helpful . Keepem coming my new friend . From Trenton , Georgia thanks .
Quick tip: You can transfer your drawing but rubbing a graphite stick on the back on the paper, tape it down, then draw over your design. It'll transfer perfect. You can also get graphite paper to use as well.
Thank you! I'm just starting with my husband's old Dremel. Was hoping to carve small figurines, but I'm not sure those can easily be done with a Dremel. Will definitely try the box though!
I’m really glad I found your channel and web site, I’m new to all this and am learning so much from you! Your work is truly amazing and exactly the type and style of what I hope to be able to do. Thank you !
Very nice 👍 Please could you try out a relief with flowers and birds and insert some polished stone to make it look like Pietro dura Because I want to try it 😅
Thank you for some great videos I’m just about to start my first project but trying small things on scrap wood first to feel comfortable to do it your videos are very informative as at first I was struggling with the diamond tips and bits but now I’ve got at least a starting point to which bit does which job
Love your videos . Want to learn everything I have never tried wood carving even though I have all the tools. Thank you so much. Also would love to see how you get your carving to stand out like that penguin you showed.

He got me doing it. While you're working, cares and worries just float away. Best therapy ever.
@@coastbill You got that right!
totally agree with Bill, Matt got me hooked aswell and it is a form of therapy ;-)
Loving your tuturials , I've found that if you varnish with 50/50 varnish and thinners (turps) it penetrated wood better and allowed better absorption
Thank you Keith! I will have to try this out!
Nice one , Good informative videos, England
Thank you, Gerry!
Absolutely a beautiful project...love it, I like you could do wood burning projects in colors.

Try using cheese cloth for the stain. It goes on more evenly and neater. Just a recommendation
I will try it, thank you!
Yes sir

Thank you Nelson! I appreciate the kind words bro!
Can you do a viking design on a axx handle
You should invest in a cricut machine. This allows a much easier design transfer.
Yes I have one :)
@@CorneliusCreations
Also, thank you.
I just started dabbling in power carving over the last year and your videos have been a super big help.
I assume you mean ‘Basswood’ when you said ‘Basewood’ ?? This came out fantastic! Very cool. I could not do as nice a design as this, lol.
That was so cool could you make one with hand tools?
I could once I got used to them!
Heres a video idea, custom noveltie shot glass out of wood? Lol my mother collects shot glasses
