How Fast Do Bamboo Grow In 1 Month?

The May 2024 update on my backyard bamboo forest here in Tucson, Arizona.
Up until now, each month has seemed to favor either the clumpers or the runners, but both types have sent up shoot here in the late spring.
Also saw some unusual growth on my new Elegant bamboo that I'll be keeping a close eye on.
NOTE: I filmed the video on May 1st when the Elegant only had the 2 new culms, but I forgot to take a photo for the video thumbnail. In just one day, the third culm in the photo popped out of the ground.
