depends on the model 2024 loq 15 looks better than 2023 loq 15 but loq 16 2023 has same screen and design as legion 5 2024 (they literally rebranded it from loq 16 to legion 5 because there is no loq 16 2024 + same plastic build) and 16:10 looks way better than 16:9
Note that the 2024 models of the LOQ have been experiencing motherboard issues with hundreds of cases of the motherboard frying itself. This is a problem with the intel cores, so you may want to spring for one of the 2023 models instead.
Why add such a negative description about the Msi cyborg 15,I have a Msi cyborg 15 and it runs every game at rtx 4050 I 7 12650 h,I’ve seen 90 w rtx 4050 beat full powered 3060s ,it is still a really capable gaming laptop and deserves to be respected and you should now that,
The Lenovo LOQ and Asus TUF just performs better then the Msi Cyborg 15 on the gaming aspect. Its not a bad laptop at all, just for the price the other two options are better. The fact that it max reaches 45W with a good CPU like the rtx 4060 confirms that the MSI cyborg 15 is developed and made by marketeers.
Hey. Have you had a chance to compare the loq with a g15 of similiar specs? If so, which one would you reccomend and is the loq a quieter less hot choice?
The 4070 is barely better than the laptop 4060 and is not worth the hefty price imo. Go for the 4060 with a decent CPU. Maybe you can find the LOQ with the 13700H and 4060.

I have Lenovo LOQ 16 and May say. Thermals are a big issue. If you play games in less than 30mins the laptop will be hot enough to fry an egg on ot. And overheating it will decrease its lifespan so keep that in mind if you want to buy one. I am using mine always on speacial stand that provides at least 10 sm soace between the laptop and any surface so it has enough air flow to cool itself.

If i were you, i wouldn't be concerned too much about the cyborg's inability to show accurate colours within its screen, since you could always buy an external monitor. There's a lot of affordable monitors out there, and my suggestion is to look for editing dedicated monitors with great colour accuracy, along with just enough refresh rate (60-100Hz) so that way you don't have to waste those extra money on refresh rates you won't even use while editing.
