'Patterson, over here! Get over here!' Seriously, as the only current speed runner of this game I salute you. If you ever did covers of more of the music in this game I would love that.
-DGT-MrProPancake Pretty much all the Medal Of Honor games are amazing(yes, even Rising Sun)....well, except for Warfighter, that one never should have been made.
TheArcadeProductions The 2010 reboot was good, its only real flaw was having regenerating heath(seriously, regenerating health should never be in a Medal Of Honor game)
Reluctant Warrior Regenerating health is actually pretty convenient. Besides, even Allied Assault had regenerating health. It does help in some tough situations.
I cannot fathom how amazing it is that you covered this track. Frontline's soundtrack is impossibly deep and emotional in its composition, and your cover is great.
Games like this were about the stories and lives of the soldiers and you could really learn alot playing the game and feel emotion for them. And modern games.. Muliplayer PvP people insulting each other, kids screaming garbage at people it's just terrible now.
1BattleTank I don't know about you, but I remember a time when screen-watching was a fight-worthy offense (if caught) and the insults between players usually involved both of them being side-by-side. And if you were playing in an arcade, there was usually a crowd of people and a lot of "hangers on" just waiting to watch a virtual beatdown at another's expense. Damn if getting good at the more popular games didn't burn through your summer's collection of dollars and quarters. The only thing that has changed between then and now is that a dickhead being mouthy can't get beaten down for their idiocy due to the nature of online gaming. I agree with the sentiment about single-player games, though. *Medal of Honor* was indeed a classic from a different, and less unscrupulous marketing, era.
although I agree it is terrible now, what you do have to realize is that all games are about money now and then, but what made the most money has changed from world war 2 games such as medal of honor frontline, to multiplayer shoot em ups like call of duty and battlefield, and I'm betting you if someone made a world war 2 game now, similar to that of medal of honor with updated graphics and such, it would not sell well, because there are just more replayable and mindless games to play like battlefield and call of duty
I am with you; I think Giacchino is kind of a genius, and his scores for the Medal of Honor games, especially this one, are incredibly moving and sophisticated. Arnhem Knights is another incredibly impacting song. I love the fact that you did a cover for this; it's an unusual choice, but it clearly means something to you, and that's awesome. It means something to me, too, and that connection is conveyed wonderfully through this cover. Thanks, Jules.
The medal of honor series were such amazing games. The series seems forgotten about in the current generation of shooters. Frontline had an amazing main theme, I remember playing as a teen as well and being awe struck what a beautiful soundtrack it had. I was looking forward to the build up at the end, and you delivered! Totally diggin it.
The original was a masterpiece but FamilyJules, you really nailed this one and moreso, did better with this cover. Your cover delivered that badass feel but then when the quieter part of the song begins, it shows the sadness that war leaves behind. The ocarina and the guitar really gave me the feels. Then when that bass dropped, it really felt saddening. To imagine what our men and women went through. The Hell they walked when they stormed the beaches of Normandy and onward. But the final minute had the feeling of hope, the feeling that when all is done and the war finally comes to an end, peace comes and we will see our soldiers, marines, sailors and airmen standing together to protect our land, our way of life from evil tyrants. 10/10 FamilyJules!
I hear ya a million times over with MOH Frontline! My dad got me into the series with the first one for PS1, and this was the first game of the series I was mature enough to fully appreciate! Thanks for the badass rendition of a seriously nostalgic theme!
This is a really awesome cover on the main theme song of Medal of Honor Frontline. I still play this game here and there and can never get enough of the games soundtrack. Medal of Honor Frontline is on of the best war games we've played and it still stands to this day.
Men thats a great cover, you maked a epic work of this theme, Medal Of Honor frontline was a my fav FPS and this giving a bombarding of nostalgia. You Not Play, You are volunteer
i Agree. i Feel The Same Way About This Sound Track. i LOVE Medal of Honer Frontline. i Grew up Playing it To. i,ve Been Playing it Since i Was 4 Years old. Thats An Awsome Cover By The Way.
Thank you so much for this gorgeous pick me up Jules, I've had the worst day in a long time so this was just really nice to come home to. Sounded fucking amazing :)
Just finished a play through of this game as an adult. Used to play it a lot in middle school. Game collected dust for almost ten years. WOW forgot how amazing this was and now that i understand the horrors of war a lot I appreciate this game a ton.
Patterson was a hero to many of us when we were kids. He was a protagonist that never really had an ending story or anything really. He didn't need one. He was one of many men who took the mantle in WW2 and lived his life afterwards. It makes it touchingnto think of.
... I'm not crying. I just have something in my eyes. Any chance you can do a cover of the MoH: Rising Sun opening theme? Please? It would be a perfect compliment to this awesome piece of music.
I'm still waiting for the Rising Sun cover. I may have to post the request on a newer video that Jules has. But dang. I still get hit hard with the pure emotion that Jules put into the Frontline theme.
Ahh Medal of Honor Frontline...a brilliant game loved by many including myself, the pinnacle of the series. Amazing OST, badass ending and awesome characters. Definitely CRUSHES today's FPS game. Even if the graphics aren't up to today's standard, it's the nostalgia that brings us back. Remember: You don't play, you volunteer
Well, finally some guy who doesn't hide behind his guitar other than 331Erock, I prefer to see the artist so that I recognize him/her, nit his/her guitar and hands.
Beast my friend! Got myself an X3 a few months ago, be a few years til i upgrade, still messing around with it. Look forward to hearing what killer tones you smash out! All the best dude! \m/
HOly sweet christ on a bike! This game was my early teens! I haven't heard this in over 10 years, but still knew the entire song and the metal spin was beautiful and you have done a fucking sterling job! And free downloadable! This will be my workout track! Thank you sir.
this is the most epic shit ever! I Love medal of honor frontline and how it gives you the feeling of how it was being a soldier irl, Amazing and deep soundtrack that gives me the chills everytime i hear it :D
OMG! Man, you have my respect. Keep doing the great job and please do more of MOH series, like Allied Assault main theme or Rjuken Sabotage. That would be sick! Greetings from Chile ;)
This hurts my fucking heart. It's sad to say, but I don't think this game aged very well at all. I've been spoiled by fancy new graphics and gameplay styles. I miss the old First Person Shooters. A simpler time for games. A time when the developers saw their games as works of art instead of cash making opportunities.
Bow Yang Jam tbh it really depends on the person... I for one think the older MOH games were pretty damn good and fun. Hell I have MOH airborne on my Xbox one. Though last I checked sadly, that was the only older MOH game backwards compatible with my console...
You’re saying the 4th Medal of Honor game in a row wasn’t a cash making opportunity? Those games helped pave the way for modern franchises with their endless installments that are minor variations on the same concept. And they were great games
Awesome! Love this song and the game is the best one I played, love the first level. Was wondering if you took requests for your next songs, unless you have prepared a setlist already. You should cover balamb garden from FFVII, unless you already did. I love how you transform the songs to a metal style keep up the awesome job!
You made the Metal of Honor
Oh shit
This should be top comment
'Patterson, over here! Get over here!' Seriously, as the only current speed runner of this game I salute you. If you ever did covers of more of the music in this game I would love that.
RealmCopier Manor House Rally!
Pedro Koury I think that’s might be everybody’s favorite from frontline besides clipping their wings a second favorite for me
Imagine in the E3 in some year the EA press conference go lights off and then this music plays...
Ale C. That would be awesome
I'd die from too much excitement.
The First Medal of Honor, Going made in Dreamworks
Imagine... Imagine.
Ale P. It’d have to be airborne or ranger centered.
a game that will always have its place on my shelf.
a truly amazing game :)
-DGT-MrProPancake Pretty much all the Medal Of Honor games are amazing(yes, even Rising Sun)....well, except for Warfighter, that one never should have been made.

True story HUA!
these games were from the real times :)

Man...games used to have so much meaning and quality...I miss those days
Crazy how I watched this when it first came out when I was 11 and yet every few years I remember this video and still come back to it
I am with you; I think Giacchino is kind of a genius, and his scores for the Medal of Honor games, especially this one, are incredibly moving and sophisticated. I love our national anthem, but this should be played at the Olympics when the U.S. wins a gold medal.
Adam C. Sure as hell is a much better song than the current anthem 😂
Dude, yes! With a huge banner in the background saying “Back 2 Back World War Champs”. lol
@@ryancarter2959 Negative. Have you not heard Jimi Hendrix's rendition? So much potential.

You Sir deserve a Medal of Honor ;)
HA
so after all this years we meet again Deathstroke. :P
Best Medal of Honor OST, and the best COVER!
Execellent.
Thank you for doing these covers, we love them
I hear ya a million times over with MOH Frontline! My dad got me into the series with the first one for PS1, and this was the first game of the series I was mature enough to fully appreciate! Thanks for the badass rendition of a seriously nostalgic theme!
This is still (by far!) the best version of this amazing videogame track.
Bro this take me back years ago. Grew up with his game, And to hear it like this is amazing. Gave me goosebumps.
I love how you cover songs you truly love, instead of just taking requests like most other TH-cam musicians.
Hearing the MoH melody on a guitar gives me the fucking chills. Great cover.
i agree :)
If they ever remastered this game, this should be the new rendition of the main theme! LOVE THIS!!!
I could seriously watch your channel all day bro, don't stop man! You're awesome!
This is a really awesome cover on the main theme song of Medal of Honor Frontline. I still play this game here and there and can never get enough of the games soundtrack. Medal of Honor Frontline is on of the best war games we've played and it still stands to this day.

Lt. Jimmy Patterson would be proud
A Pinoy Bic B0i wasn't its James Patterson? not Jimmy?
+Sgt Xecutioner Jimmy James either way his last name was Patterson
i Agree. i Feel The Same Way About This Sound Track. i LOVE Medal of Honer Frontline. i Grew up Playing it To. i,ve Been Playing it Since i Was 4 Years old. Thats An Awsome Cover By The Way.
Thank you so much for this gorgeous pick me up Jules, I've had the worst day in a long time so this was just really nice to come home to. Sounded fucking amazing :)
Yeah I can really tell on the improvement on the bass and rhythm tones. They sound so much fuller and rich. Keep it up man!!!
Just finished a play through of this game as an adult. Used to play it a lot in middle school. Game collected dust for almost ten years. WOW forgot how amazing this was and now that i understand the horrors of war a lot I appreciate this game a ton.
Jules man, why do you choose so many good songs. No one person should have such good taste.
Patterson was a hero to many of us when we were kids. He was a protagonist that never really had an ending story or anything really. He didn't need one. He was one of many men who took the mantle in WW2 and lived his life afterwards. It makes it touchingnto think of.

+Joe Mode
Quick! Everybody keep posting on this comment, please show support for hearing the Rising Sun theme!
+volksdude1970 Anyone play Men of Valor Vietnam? The title theme there.....
Just give it a listen
I'm still waiting for the Rising Sun cover. I may have to post the request on a newer video that Jules has.
But dang. I still get hit hard with the pure emotion that Jules put into the Frontline theme.
That's the most incredible thing my ears have ever heard. I give that video a big thumbs up.
Underappreciated game soundtracks, you done them justice thank you son
Those who disliked this were dishonorably discharged...
This song back in the day...was the reason why I named my self this for all games and this metal version... holy shit... takes me back so much
Arnhem Knights...
This game was the pinnacle of the MoH series, Allied Assault claimed top for it's amazing Multiplayer.
5v5 Sniper only scrims.
V2
I was thinking about what a cover of Arnhem Knights would be like
How I have waited a lifetime for someone to do a Metal cover of this great soundtrack.
You would bust out the ocarina haha very well done cover sir. One of my alltime favorite VG themes right here. Hits right in the nostalgia.
This is amazing!! Brought back all the memories :-D
Mad respect man, I grew up on medal of honor games. Brings back the memories ;)
When you pulled out that ocarina. I nearly lost my ship!! That was awesome!!! :D
Pasaron 8 años y recién descubrí esta maravilla, excelente 👌
Yo ahora, es una locura, si esta fuese la original en los juegos hubiese sido otra locura.
Damn i love your play style!
It just resembles the passion you put on your playing!
Keep up the awesome work man :D
Holy shit dude, you kill my heart with memories of this game. Amazing music.
I didn't know anyone liked this game but me... played so many hours of it as a kid. thanks for the nostalgia.
one of the first ps2 games i played
this game is amazing, too bad i'm the only one of my friends that has played it... i tell them to try it but they just shrug it off :/
So awesome. Love how you just jam and have fun.
Wow man. Just wow. Round of applause. Thank you!
I remember playing a copy on this one on the Gamecube, but just Multiplayer FFA, and I never heard this song. I loved it!
AMAZING, beautifully arranged, flawlessly performed
Ahh Medal of Honor Frontline...a brilliant game loved by many including myself, the pinnacle of the series. Amazing OST, badass ending and awesome characters. Definitely CRUSHES today's FPS game. Even if the graphics aren't up to today's standard, it's the nostalgia that brings us back. Remember: You don't play, you volunteer
Simply astounding. Your guitar-fu is too powerful!
I still believe this is one of the best video games soundtracks ever and some of the best music ever written.
“Lieutenant, Here is your new mission”
_oh the nostalgia~_
I know. I’m l a t e
A beautiful tribute to a beautiful game. Well done, sir!
The last time I played that game was like 7 years ago but still remember those soundtracks !
best part 1:12 😢
The greatest main theme of all time and the greatest cover of that theme of all time.
o7
I also like how you kept the original drums at the end. Always room for that patriotic 'going to war' vibe.
I don't normally like this type of rendition (heavy metal), but this was absolutely awesome!
the memories came back to me thank you man
I haven't played the game, nor have I heard the theme before, but flippin' heck that was brilliant. I really enjoyed it.
Holy shit. This is amazing. Props to you dude!
this is officially my most favorite video on youtube
Well, finally some guy who doesn't hide behind his guitar other than 331Erock, I prefer to see the artist so that I recognize him/her, nit his/her guitar and hands.

Jules, you keep raising the bar. This is amazing. Your tones sound sexy too.
The ocarina part sent shivers up my spine
In my opinion, you are the best bro I really like your guitar covers ;)
HOly sweet christ on a bike! This game was my early teens! I haven't heard this in over 10 years, but still knew the entire song and the metal spin was beautiful and you have done a fucking sterling job! And free downloadable! This will be my workout track! Thank you sir.
El shooter al que más he jugado. Y una de las mejores bandas sonoras que he escuchado jamás.
Damn, I just got nostalgia for a game I hardly even played ever. Also, your goatee is beautiful.

hearing this cover always makes me so sad..knowing MoH is dead...the song is so well done
OMG!
Man, you have my respect.
Keep doing the great job and please do more of MOH series, like Allied Assault main theme or Rjuken Sabotage. That would be sick!
Greetings from Chile ;)
impossibleisfaby just hope he doesn't do warfighter, that game was just terrible
I remember frontline... The music that touched me most was from the mission Arnhem Knights, jesus, that song got me good....
That was beyond wild. That was fucking AWESOME!!!! 🤘🔥
This hurts my fucking heart. It's sad to say, but I don't think this game aged very well at all. I've been spoiled by fancy new graphics and gameplay styles. I miss the old First Person Shooters. The part with the ocarina was simply beautifuk
A shiver just ran through my spine! :--))

Goosebumps... And memories ;( Thx to this i have power to study!! THANKS JULES!
Weird as it may sound, I bet you a couple of WWII veterans would be happy to hear this.
Lead tone is as smooth as a baby's butt smothered in body chocolate. You've made a step in the right direction.
oh god the nostalgia. i cant handle it

Awesome! Love this song and the game is the best one I played, love the first level. Was wondering if you took requests for your next songs, unless you have prepared a setlist already.
