  • I ended up getting a nylock M10x1.0 nut from my local hardware store to replace my swing arm nut for 75 cents.
    I used two spacers behind the motor sprocket.

    The belts are tough, but there are some downsides. Mad, stones, grit, debris. SHOCK loading the belt by jumping and landing under throttle and suddenly slowing the rear wheel, will eventually shred teeth on the primary belt. If any of those things are the type of riding you do, get a chain primary.

      Luna cycle also has a swingarm wrench, but you have to email them directly about it. It comes with the belt drive kit.

      The proper name of the tool is clutch nut socket. The M10x1 nut is called a castle nut, or clutch nut. It's an oddball size though, so any standard clutch nut sockets don't work, without modification. Best choice is to remove it with a punch and hammer, and discard it for a Standard hew M10x1 locknut.

    this kit is junk.. my sprocket is lopsided making the chain loosen and tighten when spinning ..

    • @skyungjae
      @skyungjae  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My chain tension doesn’t change through the full rotation. Maybe your motor isn’t aligned or you should go to 2 washers.

    • @jerseyrotaries
      @jerseyrotaries 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@skyungjae the washers have nothing to do with it. Those are only for aligning the 2 sprockets.. the sprocket I got has a manufacturing defect.. the hole in the center of my large sprocket is a hair off ..

      @@jerseyrotaries that’s too bad. Hopefully Luna makes it right.

      @@jerseyrotaries Their CS is usually pretty good. Nobody is a fan of the split sprocket design. It would be great to see an update to the design.
