You can highlight your accomplishments, why the program should offer you a job and what value you will bring in to the job. Make these things really strong. The first shot is the best shot as i have explained in the video.

Good to know. This is a great question. You can apply for a fellowship. But for the most part, pathology is a specialty where IMGs end up repeating residency. If the fellowship gets you requisite Canadian experience, then there is an option to apply for PR based on that. On a positive note, it is one of the least competitive specialties to get into.

Eligibility for the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination Part 1 (MCCQE1) does not explicitly require Canadian permanent residency (PR). However, obtaining PR status is necessary to participate in the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) for residency placement. While the MCCQE1 itself does not have a PR requirement, it is essential to fulfill all the necessary prerequisites for the residency application process, including being a PR or a Canadian Citizen.

However, when it comes to IMGs, I would advise caution when considering joining a PA (Physician Assistant) course. It is crucial to thoroughly evaluate the potential advantages and disadvantages it may present to your specific situation.
To proceed, I recommend conducting extensive research on the agency, ensuring their reliability and expertise in matters relevant to the Canadian healthcare system. It is essential to ascertain their firsthand experience and comprehensive knowledge of the intricacies of healthcare in Canada. Once you have diligently assessed their credibility and are genuinely satisfied with their credentials, you could follow their guidance with more confidence.
