Somebody has been coaching Busch about how to conduct himself in interviews. A lot more self-control and makes comments that won’t get him in trouble. How Stenhouse got to run that race is beyond me, and I can’t figure out how he is still in Cup. He’s almost as good at wrecking other guys as Brian Vickers was.

Kyle said Ricky checked up a little. If you watch the replay, you will see that in fact, Ricky's car did check up ever so slightly as Kyle said. I saw that when they did the replay right after it happened. Also, Ricky received the NASCAR penalty because his team and himself sucker punched Kyle as he was walking away.

I do think Kyle was in the wrong and should be penalized if anyone is, but I swear this whole thing feels like Ricky was mad afterwards, said he was going to fight, then felt like he was obligated to or felt he could get notoriety out of it. I mean, the conversation was normal when they spoke, then, without any real prompt, he swung. Not saying its not justified, but the latter half of that incident timeline felt so forced and awkward.
Then maybe Ricky should choose his words more carefully. No one but him took a swing, and he enjoyed it, and bragged about it. Dummy. Go Kyle!

Look at it from Kyle's POV. He's not putting up with a guy who runs mid 20's and spins or wrecks every other week who is running it 3 wide in the corner on the 2nd lap, thinking he's gonna win 1M. He's won 3 races in 10 years, shouldn't have even been there, and Kyle put him in his place. That's big boy territory out there, big money, big egos, big tempers. You gotta love how Kyle is the realest guy in sports, though. 100% right about the awkwardness of Stenhouse, people were backing him so hard at first but it didn't age well.

Truth is, he drove in too deep and left the door wide open. Then was pissed RSJ got in there, thinking he didn't deserve to be there, and pissed he drove himself into the wall. So his rage got the best of him, and he blantely took Ricky out!
Kyle is right. He definitely needs to work with the 8 team and get a competitive car put together. He can't qualify better than mid pack and usually finishes worse. Either Kyle just can't figure out the car, or they just can't figure out how to set it up at the shop.
I don't think Stenhouse went to Busch's hauler with the intent to start a fist fight. Afterall, who wears a pair of yellow flowered Bermuda shorts to a fight that's going to be televised on national TV? I think Stenhouse, after being forced to sit and stew about the incident the entire race, instead of heading home to cool off as he said he would have if he could have gotten out of the race track, went to confront Busch face to face, to voice his aggravation, and things quickly escalated. A $75,000 dollar fine is ridiculous and didn't even address what happened on the track during the race! What occurred before Busch sent Stenhouse into the wall was typical aggressive NASCAR racing. None of this after the race drama would have happened if Busch had immediately been penalized 10 laps for his actions. But NASCAR loves the drama and the attention it brings to the sport, and for them to penalize people for playing right into their sceme is total Bullsh!t!!!
If you watch the video, Ricky over corrected the car then hit the wall. Yes Kyle is frustrated with the season and is tired of being squeezed and taking advantage of in the corners.
It’s interesting how at a race track it’s just a fine and a slap on the wrist and you’re onto the next one. However, if he did that out in public or at a regular job, he would’ve been arrested put in jail and charged with assault. So I guess be thankful that you’re only out 75K.

How are people not noticing that Wrecky filled the gap three wide on a SHORT TRACK going into a corner. This pinched Kyle Busch in the wall. He may not have touched him, but he sure as hell did not give him space, move down, or back out of the gas - Leaving Kyle Busch no choice but to be pinched in the wall. Hence why Kyle is not backing down from his statements.
People keep saying Stenhouse did no wrong, but it sure wasn’t a clean race move, he knows Kyle had nowhere to go. He was paying Busch back for Kyle calling him a nobody after his Daytona win. Everyone is very split about whose the better driver/least wrong.
The fact of the matter is Kyle put himself into the wall, however when Stenhouse and Busch made contact, Kyle was still against the wall, meaning they would’ve made contact anyways. Kyle absolutely wrecked Stenhouse intentionally but knowing his history, I doubt he would’ve wrecked him if he knew he put himself into the wall. Kyle doesn’t like to wreck people for no reason.
Right before the first punch was thrown Kyle said, “I doubt it, but if that’s what happened…” I’m no genius, but that sounded almost like an apology. Stenhouse, his dad, and that crew member definitely instigated it and eventually took it a little too far, especially with the choke hold.
The point is they both did wrong. No point in saying whose better because that just comes down to opinion. I’m definitely more of a Kyle fan, but the contact with the wall was definitely his own doing, whether or not they would’ve collided a few seconds later.
