You hardly hear anything out of McDowell as far as being a dirty driver. This is short track racing. Ty Gibbs on the other hand has an aggressive racing style who wrecked his own teammate in Xfinity and knocked him out of the playoffs when Gibbs was already in.

I certainly don’t think this guy was smearing anyone. He sounded very reasonable. Just is what it is.
At least someone stood up to Ty for once. Iwuji is still the man for spinning Ty last year.

I mean, I like McDowell, I really do... but it's not a points race. Gibbs made a move, McDowell chose to defend and got short strawed. Just a racing incident, also no where near the level of"wtf was that" that we see in All-Star races lol
Yeah but the Xfinity races when ty gets used to race and Xfinity he would race like that. Didn't matter if it was points or not and he will get humbled and checked if he acts like that because somebody will wreck his ass and take him out of contention for points because there's Rick Hendrick out there. There's Penske and there's rid of shoulders and Stuart hoss. Big guys big names. He pisses those people off. There's going to be repercussions and maybe these repercussions in the NASCAR getting involved. Maybe the the drivers wreck him who knows? All I know is this is cup series not Xfinity. I feel so bad for Ty Gibbs. He's kept his nose clean all year and has proven he's not the dirty driver he was in XFINITY anymore and the one incident he has, which is on a short track where things like this happens all the time, everyone starts smearing the poor guy as a pos.
