Hey guys. Just to gather some data for the upcoming full star review.
How many of you really love the full review format (th-cam.com/video/8KL3hQS6MqE/w-d-xo.html)?
I won't throw TH-cam analytics around because I don't want to influence anyone but do you enjoy this format or would a shorter format work better? Like maybe not reviewing the whole set and instead just showcase the outstanding card opinions in something like a Top 10 influential cards of the set video & Top 10 cards other people are wrong about video. We could still provide a link to Trump's research Spreadsheet if you just have to know that that Pumpkin Peasant is a 1 star card.
Just like one of my replies to "vote". Also share your thoughts in the comments since we are very interested in those.

Honestly - I didn't watch much of these. I Just skipped to a few cards I was interested in or turned off after a while.
I love these. Yes, they are long but I am entertained for most of the time.
I think it's a good novelty tbh
It's fun in a time where content is less and less at the end of an expansion

Hi, person who runs Dire Frenzy here to explain myself. I personally run 1 copy of Dire Frenzy in my Recruit Hunter. It might seem like that would make it worse against aggro but shuffling 3 6/15 Witchwood Grizzlies into your deck wins you the game pretty handily. As well as covering you if you draw poorly and run out of beasts to recruit, buffing a Charged Devilsaur adds cards into the pool for both of the big deathrattles in the deck. Imo it makes the deck a lot better against control as they run tons of removal and Recruit Hunter often runs out of steam after pulling a few beasts.

i've seen it plenty, they just keep hitting you with bears and dinos until you're dead
It isn't a high winrate card, but a lot of the non-cube recruit versions include 1-2 copies of Dire Frenzy to hedge against really bad draws. Makes the deck feel better even if the statistics don't support it well.
It's more of a egg hunter card instead of the big recruit hunter

To answer your question about dire frenzy, it's run in big recruit hunter most of the time. Since the biggest beasts you'd want to recruit are charged devilsaur and king krush, you can only get a max of 3 good recruits. Granted that's usually enough to win the game, but against some heavy taunt decks or decks with really good removal, sometimes you need to have some extra oomph to get through a longer game. Dire frenzy does this by giving you more recruit fodder and late game finishers.
Good review. I liked how he referenced streamers as influencing which decks and cards get played (at least by players laddering.) So true.

Trump, dire frenzy is also used in quest hunter as well. After you compelete your quest and have dire frenzy in hand you play it on Queen Carnassa to have infinite Raptors with 3, 11/11 Queen Carnassa's with 45+ cards in your deck.

Warrior is one of the three classes gaining the most mech support in The Boomsday Project (it's even getting the new Dr. Boom hero). Zilliax has Rush. Town Crier may finally be a thing.
I think Shudderwock should be indirectly nerfed my changing Life Drinker. You would still get tons of body out, but you wouldn’t just win.

The annoying part of shudder is how long it takes when it otks. But the card is fine. It is a combo/value/tempo depending in how you use it. And like everything not broken is defeatable, it just preys on reaaally slow decks
Baleful Banker is Core in my quest priest deck. Though it’s mainly the only time I see it in any deck.

Certainly there are a good amount of control decks but in my experience it isn’t as much as Trump makes it out to be. I still run into hella odd rogues, odd paladins, zoo warlocks and egg hunters

I run spellhunter and I love eating zoolock and odd rogue. Odd paladin is a bit harder with divine shields and level up.
i play Dire frenzy in my quest hunter deck, to dire frenzy the 8 / 8 if it survives 1 turn, or worst case i use it on the little quest minions, gives for quite a good impact tbh

People played dire frenzy because it was a budget option for midrange hunter which is the go to budget deck

You should possibly think of doing a 'trump reviews' for decks but in the arena environment as well, cause it seems certain cards that isn't the best in standard are actually sometimes really good in arena.
I know that's a bit harder to do due to the more random nature of arena, but one can still possibly see a pattern of good cards/deck building in arena enough to possibly rate some cards in that respect.
Gotta love Heal Warlock, went from Rank 16 to 9 undefeated and it doesn't even have any cards from this expansion.

Matthew Lindsley he said that he's skipping cards that started a 1 star and ended up a 1 star.
So if you don't see the card, he guessed it was bad and it ended up bad.
I played 1 dire frenzy in my recruit hunter for a while and it wasn't too bad most of the time. getting it off of witchwood grizzly then cubing and recruiting can get you some big value where aggro has no chance and control matchups struggle quite a bit. I was probably playing recruit hunter wrong instead of focusing on my dinos but it was fun and wasn't terrible.

Why isn't baleful banker ran in Shudderwock? Seems like a good battle cry to bunch extra grumbles or shudder if you're forced to play it early.

Lightning Breath but she's a 1 of and so less reliable to get. I guess my point was why not run baleful also.
mythrol by the time you play shudder, you're usually almost in fatigue. It's just not relevant most of the time.
Lightning Breath to be fair baleful would help with fatigue. Though I suppose it ends up being more of a "win more" card. By the time it's useful you should have already won.
