I like these types of videos because the decision making discussions display the multiple ways that you could play each turn. Also the discussions help me to understand the different strategies of the game even more.

Good lord this is the hardest I've laughed in a long time. The differences of opinions on how to play between 3 pros is hilarious.
That moment at the beginning where Trump wanted to pass turn one and Toast and Kibler were both like "Woah woah woah!" just really set the tone for greatness.

If he had armor up instead of playing the 2nd banana he would have lived

Or if he didnt trade the corehound. Alley Armorsmith gives armor everytime it deals damage, so if enemy trades 4/3 into armorsmith it's extra armor.
It dealt damage to the face and gained 4
With one banana he wouldve had 5 armor that turn. With one banana, armor and corehound face he wouldve had 8 armor.

I like how Kibler can change his mind 3 times a turn but every time he's *sure* he's got the right play.
This is my first card game and I just got it 4 days ago. So addicted I can’t sleep. This is the most fun vid, even though I don’t know hardly any of the cards they’re playing. Great finish!!

Which matters more, being wrong all game long, or being the one with the correct choice for the last turn for that 1 extra point of health?
I think the best takeaway from this is that many decisions may be right at the time, even if they don't lead to a win.
Jaeus A it's the difference between a local and a global optimum.
choosing always the best local optimum for a problem may end not being the best global optimum for the same problem.
I was just being a devil's advocate. Trump got a lot of flak for his desired decisions being "wrong" but sneaking in more Armor could shut down some outs for the opponent as well.
I personally agree with Toast and Kibler's decisions, because I don't think the result makes a decision right or wrong.
Jaeus A I only disagreed with their last play. it confused me. they were playing so safe all this time and suddenly they choose damage over health in a situation where it was dangerous to do that, on top of that they traded in the 9/3 instead of dealing 9 damage to face and t reading with the armorer.
i pointed out that what you said Is a concept in programming for problem solving. their individual decisions were the optimal decision for that situation, but in the bigger scale they lost the duel because their decisions were only the best in each situation they were made
They chose to play around a card that could exist in the deck rather than around cards that definitely do not exist in the deck.
Junambo QCG there was the possibility of it existing because of cabal's tome. but again my opinion on how to make plays is far from perfect.

Agreed, mages get fkn spells that cost 2 less (with a 2 cost spell) and warriors get a 1 cost discover that doesn't cost 1 less, blizzard sucks at card designs

yeah you're right. Both are discover cards, but one discovers spells only. SO FKN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT.
GameFuMaster yeah it is do you even play hearthstone the one is a 2 cost discover card that gives you 1 spell that costs two less the other one I a 2 cost card that replaces YOUR WHOLE DECK with one Mana discover spells the 1 Mana spell is no card it's a fucking token you can't compare them

Hearthstone fact of the day: if you sap a minion when your opponent has ten cards, it is the same as killing it, it will trigger death rattle effects
This is why I love cards like Explore Un'goro and Renounce Darkness, you almost never win, but it makes for some really nice comeback games, until of course, you get pyroblasted.
I love how they seem to be really doing that to have fun and not for the money. Nothing wrong with wanting to earn money, but this gave me a refreshing feeling. Will join toast stream now.

MrElionor right? the mana wyrm wouldve gotten buffed by the glyph which the opponent kept in mulligan dealing 2 instead of 1
Mana Wyrm hits you on turn 2 then you hit it with war axe and take 1. hitting mana wyrm at turn 1 reduces damage taken no matter how you slice it.

Should've armored up instead of second banana the Armorsmith. Gain 5 armor instead 4 that would've left 1 health after pyroblast. Man was that a fun match to watch.
