Hate to ruin your meme, but Shudderwock is heavily favoured against taunt druid. Not only do you have the inevitable Shudderwock combo that bypasses their taunts, you also generate beasts on the opponent's side of the board, which makes their Witching Hour almost useless. Now token druid is a different matter altogether.
Trump is literally the highlight of my every day that he posts and I don't know if that's because he's a great youtuber or if I have an exceedingly depressing life. Anyways keep up the good work bud
I like running hagatha because it adds pretty much a guaranteed board clear each turn especially when you can play more than one shudderwock a turn. Plus I did run without it for a while and ive sometimes not had any way to kill off my shudderwocks to summon new ones and trigger your infinite healing/damage, which can leave you vulnerable. Ik it seems unnecesarry when you have 7 6/3s on board but its actually quite handy. Ypu can always replace hagatha with primordial drake for board clear and to recycle shudderwocks but it just means you'll have to summon 3 shudderwocks instead of just 2. Just a personal preference
idk about keleseth. Wild pyro is really good when there's more odd paladin and token druid, and there's even a new list with youthful brewmaster popping up that looks good
pandaren and brewmaster is better. it's cheaper and also viable for the combo. it's also can be used on other combo on wild since it's a neutral card. just saying.
Not every Shudderwalk deck requires Grumble. As an example, Wild has access to a charging Shudderwalk combo. I'd really like to not deal with THAT come the next expansion.
Hagatha has a chance every time to ruin the combo. If the hagatha battlecry goes of then the bounce back to the hand goes off afterwards without a seranite chaingang you will have no shudderwocks except for the one you just summoned (which as you already know won't be returned to your hand) that being said with the downside of filling your hand so it makes you shudderwock combo delayed is also has a chance of just ruining your combo (even if small) Which may have gone unseen while deck building but in action it's very visible
Keleseth doesn't add too much to this deck. I like murmuring, but honestly wild pyromancer is a bigger reason, feels real good for acolyte and aggro decks as well. a 2 mana ooze and thalnos for card draw/lightning storm turns, fun times
You need to swap out one of those mind control techs for a Gorgon or Banker. Then at least you can get your Shudderwock back in hand or into your deck if the Grumble fails.
The new Omega card (and probably the other ones as well) seems good in a shudderwock deck since you play shudderwock with 10 mana usually. Though maybe it's just too much 'win more' because playing shudderwock usually means you win anyway? What do you think?
"I don't like Sandbinder. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like Hemet, Jungle Hunter. Hemet is soft and smooth." -Trump, 2018
I think with the hemet tech he won't be able to effectively utilize Prince Keleseth's battlecry as the majority of minions are removed when he plays hemet, so it maybe worth considering putting back the murmuring elemental
i thought of a good deck that was made just to troll, all the normal shudderwock cards, freeze related battlecry minions, and alexstraza, they just cannot die.
Sorry to burst your bubble but spell make does have a line of victory, they need to stack their Alanna fast and then Alanna on 9, Alexxtrasza on 10 can be a surprisingly quick lethal
I run it specifically for certain matchups. Though my deck isn't completely refined, I have a fairly high winrate with my big spell mage. Then again that could be because I'm in wood league, I'm confident with my current build.
It is interesting to see that MCT is a major shudderwock playing when it technically has a chance to lose you the game when shudderwock is played. I loved the card but removed it from my shudder deck just as a pre-caution.
People do things i dont understand: -Playing hagatha on a shudderwock deck -Not playing murmuring elemental and hoping for luck take the wheel than blaming The Luck
I've been searching the comments for anyone who knows the fact that hagatha can ruin the combo everytime you play shudderwock. Please tell me you understand this.
The mage got it right. Just don't deal with it. Shudderwock is really high up there in the most rediculous decks of all time. It's way worse than old quest rogue, old quest mage with a billion iceblocks and old freeze mage. There is two options to win against Shudderwock. 1. You beat him up as fast as possible. But wait, the deck has alot of stall and survivability that even works towards the combo. 2. You beg that they either missplay, or get really really unlucky, considering how consistent the current version of the deck is (2/49 chance if played correctly, resulting in a 4% chance of failure). AND have a full board clear available for that case. If you dont, well you still lose. There is barely any aggro deck that can beat up Shudderwock shaman fast enough. And the only control deck that can win once the combo is going is probably exodia mage. But even then in my experience of playing exodia mage Shudderwock combo is just ready faster than your combo, especially in the hemmet list. I'll admit that Shudderwock isn't as brainless to play as some zoolock or dude paladin lists, it surely isn't up there with the decks you really have to think alot about your moves either though. Especially for being a combo deck the thought process going into every turn is fairly low in comparison. I feel like the highest chance of beating shudderwock statistically when it comes to winrate is actually just being a warlock with double Gnomeferatu. The odds of you discarding the Shudderwock is probably higher than the chances of you outtempoing Shudderwock, outvaluing Shudderwock or having them fuck up their combo AND clearing the board combined. And one of the biggest problems of the deck is the total lack of control over the game you feel playing against it. And that's coming from an exodia mage player, which normally is king of the single player decks. Blizzard should really consider doing something about this deck, I don't think the community will keep quiet for an entire two years of Shudderwock rampage. At this point, the only thing to stop Shudderwock, if blizzard doesnt nerf the deck, is an even more stupid deck coming out with the next few expansions. PS: Cmon, hit me with all the answers saying that I just need to git gud and stop crying about other decks. But still most people know im right. Even the ones playing the deck themselves.
According to HSreplay, the deck has a sub 50% winrate at every single level of play. It might be uninteractive but calling the deck OP is objectively wrong
not sure what you checked, but all the shudderwock lists im finding on hsreplay and other comparison sites vary from 52.4-67,9%. While that might not be too rediculous of a number, considering the numbers on other decks and the fact that hearthstone is still skill and rng based those values are way too high. And while many warlock lists go way beyond that in terms of winrate, those are less rng reliant and by far not as frustrating to play against. Just because something doesnt have 80% winrate, doesnt mean its fair and fun to play against. Shudderwock is far from both of those things.
Despite people moving onto this version on shuttershaman, I still prefer the elemental build with the double battlecry. Fixes that miss opportunity by a good bit, since rngesus is a douche.
Part Time Gamer tbf most people aren't any more. They run Zola and that and hope they don't get the 1/64 chance or whatever it is that it doesn't get bounced
The issue with the murmiring elemental (or whatever the name was) is that it's another condition to have (wait until you can grumble it) while also cutting out space for a better card. Not to mention that you get risks of losing the combo anyway if you grunble first then hagatha two times in a row although the chsnce is thin. The older otk deck isn't that good and that's why people use the current version, with more tech cards and flexibility.
"I've analyzed 300K possible games of Sudderwock"
Me: How many of those Sudderwock games have defeated Taunt Druid?
Trump: Only one.
Shudderwock is Dr Strange now and Taunt Druid is Thanos?
i won the majority of times agianst taunt druid at 10+
Hate to ruin your meme, but Shudderwock is heavily favoured against taunt druid. Not only do you have the inevitable Shudderwock combo that bypasses their taunts, you also generate beasts on the opponent's side of the board, which makes their Witching Hour almost useless.

Taunt druid sucks if you have a polymorph effect and skullking gist
The only taunt druid matchup that doesnt favout shudderwock is the one deck that doesnt run witching hour
Trump is literally the highlight of my every day that he posts and I don't know if that's because he's a great youtuber or if I have an exceedingly depressing life.
Anyways keep up the good work bud
Matthew I totally agree, when I feel down I always watch trump
Probably both
Why is Hamilton your profile picture?
Trump won't bring back the jobs he prmoised, your life will continue to be depressing.
Hai Han Isn't black unemployment on a new low?
The first time I faced a Shudderwock pre-speedup, I was all "How long can this go on?"
Holy shit I usually never stay until the ending, never doing that again.

The best tech for shudderwock is tinkmaster overspark. It's great having that chance to destroy your own combo by turning shudderwock in a squirrel.
Such a fun card. I just had a game against a Shaman that lasted 1 hour and 36 min.
You know that the meta is extra healthy when players instantly concede based on the match-up.
A fun little tech is Marin the Fox + Mossy Horror, gives a ton of value against control
Earth shock is so good! I reluctantly gave it up just because everyone else did
I like running hagatha because it adds pretty much a guaranteed board clear each turn especially when you can play more than one shudderwock a turn. Hey the titles are no longer screaming all caps. And the thumbnails are a bit more understated too. I love how you've gone back to normal again :)
Two more years of MY CLAWS THAT CATCH MY JAWS THAT BITE! Two more fucking years!
Can't wait to see all the new and exiting Battlecry from Boomsday that shudderwock can have fun with.
It's called at 10 mana get a board of 16/6 shudderwock
OH NO
Mmento Mori you mean do nothing because most of your shudder get bounced?
Not every Shudderwalk deck requires Grumble. As an example, Wild has access to a charging Shudderwalk combo. I'd really like to not deal with THAT come the next expansion.
KoopaKrump what's the combo?
Hagatha has a chance every time to ruin the combo. Can someone please explain to me the whole chance of shudderwock success thing?
Keleseth doesn't add too much to this deck. I like murmuring, but honestly wild pyromancer is a bigger reason, feels real good for acolyte and aggro decks as well. a 2 mana ooze and thalnos for card draw/lightning storm turns, fun times

Can anyone tell me what that pixel font is that is used when the video opens?
*Primordial D* 👌
Almost sounds like a soundcloud rapper name.
Before he could calculate the odds of losing, he won.
"I don't like Sandbinder. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like Hemet, Jungle Hunter. Hemet is soft and smooth." -Trump, 2018
Its like the old Miracle rogue: interactive. Im waiting for the nerf.
7:14 He top decked the hex, lol.
Wow, you really have to watch the video right to the last second!
Y U no murmuring elemental - Fire plume harbringer?
What was the music at the start? I recognise it but can't place it
I think with the hemet tech he won't be able to effectively utilize Prince Keleseth's battlecry as the majority of minions are removed when he plays hemet, so it maybe worth considering putting back the murmuring elemental
The Spark Mandrill again!
Trump can't stop doing value plays even in a hard combo deck :)
Does anyone know what song is playing during the end credits?
What is the background music Trump is listening to? Reminds me of FMA ost or something like that.
I know the one music clip near the end is Spark Mandrill's stage music from the Megaman X series.
Corneria Theme from Starfox (super smash bros.brawl version)
I knew it?!
Since i got Zola from my first 5 packs from the pre purchase bundle that this Card will be useful when the right time has come!
The ending. my god
Is the ending music a cover of the ending song of Konosuba season 1 or is it just my imagination?
Shudderwock is a lot like an OTK dragon priest, But instead of wining by actually killing your opponent you win by rage quits!!!
Hold on. Shudderwock is a core card for the shudderwock deck?
i thought of a good deck that was made just to troll, all the normal shudderwock cards, freeze related battlecry minions, and alexstraza, they just cannot die.
Shudderwock + Jades = EZ
Is there an actual Jeeves app that tracks your battlecries?
What's the music at the start??
Corneria Theme from Starfox (super smash bros.brawl version)
Consider baleful banker since the hemet chops up the deck anyways. Increase consistency?
My claws that bite my jaws that catch
Sorry to burst your bubble but spell make does have a line of victory, they need to stack their Alanna fast and then Alanna on 9, Alexxtrasza on 10 can be a surprisingly quick lethal
Nathan Toothaker Alanna is almost never run

I thought I imagined that Michael Rosen "noice" for a moment, not gonna lie.
What was that clip at 21:21? It looked familiar
Oodli I think family guy or futurama
05:44 no, hemmet tech was created by farsight.
Ahhh, if only doppelganger was still usable in standard.
The "NOPE" man
Why was it good to leave the frog alive at 7:19 ?
whats that end music?
How is kalaseth better than baleful banker?
Jesus that fucking jumpscare
With hemet, the deck is truly... Perfectly balanced

do a wild reno-wock deck vid
In wild you can make a shudderwalk deck that is not degenerate and fun to play. I know none is interested because its not BUSTED but . . .
Would give adjacent minions taunt possibly take keleseths spot?
People do things i dont understand:

inb4 the “where can I download that Jeeves addon” comments
where can I download that Jeeves addon
Opaldiia that would actually be a legit nice addon to make. Shouldn’t be more complicated than a deck tracker and just as usefull
Is the jeeves in the corner part of the game, or edit?
It's an edit.
0:00 STAR FOX THEME!!!!!!!
My jaws that bite
Starfox tho... ❤️
uhh instead of hagatha or zola why are you not running the double battlecry dude. it makes shudderwok 100% every time

I mean yea sure but it's just till the first expansion of 2019 not 2 years since most of the combo pieces will have rotated out :P
oh yeah, my bad there, I actually forgot saronite chain gang is frozen throne. thought it was kobolds and catacombs for some reason.

Well, I did just open a golden shudderwock. Guess it’s time for degeneracy bois
BerzerkCharlatan same thing happened to me. If rngsus wills it...it must be fate.
Yay always rope every turn too
I got a Grumble when the expansion first came out. Didnt get Shudderwock though

Murmuring Elemental also turns off Prince Keleseth since it costs 2.
If you NEED to you can zola grumble. Your zola is 1 mana. Play shudderwock zola if you miss ur combo as a backup. A 7/8 is good for most ppl tho
